Centro Turistico San Nicola

So where to start…? We have been customers of the campsite for the past 13 years and with the new management we expected some news and improvements, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Even before, the San Nicola campsite was more expensive than others, now the prices are double that of equivalent structures. Many rules and concepts, but not thought out to the end. Dogs everywhere without leashes, beaches reserved for customers with bracelets, but not controlled, environmental tax, but the recycling bags are all thrown on the same vehicle and there is no where they end up. In short, given the prices, they would like an exclusive village, but they are not. The target is not understood, but today, mid-July, there are very few families with children and teenagers. The front rows have been owned by retirees for years now and if one wants to book a pitch, one must do so a year in advance by paying the pre-booking, with the TOTAL balance due in February, naturally also paying the booking fees. The concept of camping and freedom is totally lost. At least other campsites of this level/price range are super organized, have pitches divided into bookable and non-bookable, dog areas on the campsite and on the beach, new and clean services, shuttles that take you to the centre, entertainment that invites you to participate. Here, of all this there is very little ... pity. Even though we came this year because the kids thought they'd find their friends, unfortunately they too were disappointed... the campsite is half empty. Aimé, let's enjoy these days, because it will be the last vacation here.

I knew the place and it is wonderful! Immersed in unspoiled nature there are bungalows and spaces for campers and tents. Until a few years ago, everything was old, but with a fair cost and service ratio. This year, with the new management of the Veronese, the situation is bordering on the paradoxical. Empty beach and lifeguards who come to check every minute if you have paid, estimates that include services never requested that bring the total cost to 4-star figures… despite the dives they are still dives!! I hope something changes otherwise I will never go back!!

Since it became Baia Holiday, it has become one of the worst places in the Gargano, absurd prices and bad management… Rudeness, non-existent services, horrible entertainment, out-of-market prices, non-compliant children's rides, absent rodent control. Don't waste your money at this property!!!

This year we are here for the 9th and last time. We booked our pitch in December 2021, unfortunately the new operator was not able to inform us about the upcoming changes. Even when we arrived, it was not pointed out that we were right on the construction site where the new mobile homes were being built, although the space was so empty that there were plenty of alternatives. The beautiful bay is now filled with rental loungers, the free beach is only tiny and accordingly full. There is no longer any live music in the Pegaso Bar. All in all, our camping paradise has been destroyed and we will look for something new. Certainly not a campsite from the Baihaholyday chain.

I've known Baia San Nicola for just 30 years, the last ten constant holidays in the village, unfortunately and with great regret it was the last time, new staff "let's say" not very nice, rest home rules. the only positive side, as usual, is Cosimo's restaurant where you eat divinely and Nicola's bar for breakfast, a pity that there are no more evenings. we will change tourist destination after so many years and so many friends that we will try to bring with us

Ho trascorso una settimana fantastica io mia moglie e miei quattro figli siamo appena ritornati rigenerati da questa vacanza..si prezzi è vero abbastanza alti ma in compenso servizi più che puliti spiaggia pulitissima mare cristallino e personale educato e gentile un plauso a tutte le ragazze della reception sempre col sorriso ed in particolare ad Irene che con la sua disponibilità e dolcezza ha reso il soggiorno ancora più gradevole.l animazione sempre pronta a coinvolgere i nostri ragazzi. Tornare al San Nicola e non trovare più Cosimo ed il suo staff al Ristorante Andromeda e Nicola e Marisa al bar Pegaso è stata una delusione enorme... In più i prezzi sono andati alle stelle e non adeguati ai servizi ricevuti... La muffa nelle docce di fronte al Bar Pegaso è un esempio... Come anche le docce sopra l' Andromeda al buio. L' unica cosa rimasta intatta è il paesaggio e la cordialità dei dipendenti... La delusione è stata immensa, era un posto fantastico per passare le vacanze... Ora non più...

Non lasciatevi ingannare. Il primo campanello d'allarme sta nel fatto che richiedono il pagamento anticipato dell'importo totale prima dell'arrivo in struttura altrimenti scappereste l'indomani. Millantano in pubblicità servizi inesistenti. Nessuna attività di animazione né sport. Le formiche e le vespe erano ovunque. Il prezzo pagato per il solo pernottamento in mezzo a centinaia di formiche è una follia

Il camping è molto tranquillo ed ombreggiato. Abbiamo soggiornato in un bilocale disposto su due livelli molto spazioso e ben attrezzato. A due passi dal mare, dà su una spiaggia non molto frequentata. Il mare è pulito e limpido ma è spesso mosso. Nota di merito per il ristorante. Abbiamo mangiato lì per 4 sere e provato diversi piatti uno più gustoso dell’altro e ad un equo prezzo. Anche il bar sulla spiaggia è molto ben fornito e piacevole. L’animazione viene fatta in un posto un po’ dislocato dal centro del villaggio pertanto è poco sentita. Si potrebbero svolgere più attività sulla spiaggia per coinvolgere maggiormente gli ospiti oppure la sera in zona bar, che altrimenti rimane silenziosa e un po’ triste. Da migliorare anche il servizio wi-fi, presente solamente al bar e al ristorante. Se si cerca la tranquillità è il posto ideale
