I always enjoy staying at this property. It’s got character and is more than just “adequate.” It’s SUCH a good bargain for such a nice place. My stay this time was close to perfect, except my tub faucet didn’t work. It was stuck on only being able to come out of the shower head. Disappointing when you plan on taking a bath, but I also didn’t say anything as it would not be worth the hassle of moving. I will return to this place still. 😁

Property is clearly aged, pool was closed by the state due to health and hazard, nothing was stated prior to booking. Breakfast was late being set up and half the items listed were missing, no attendant to ask any questions and the help desk was put out with questions.

This property was so nice. The decorations were great, the open bar from 5 to 7 is great, the rooms are comfortable. Rosa at the bar was wonderful. They make fresh baked cookies also. The worst part was the breakfast. Nobody seem to be around to restock it and the layout needs to be redone. No rhyme or reason to wear anything else.

Upon entering, the lobby was decorated woodsy. I love that look. The front desk staff person was friendly n took care of us right away. The room was much nicer than we expected. We had plenty of room to relax. I appreciated that the hotel had hot breakfast available n water n lemomwater in the lobby. The hotel is very close to a restaurant for dinner.
The only thing i wish was in the room was a luggage rack to place our luggage. Other than that we had a very comfortable stay.

Pool and spa were under renovation when we were there but were very nice on our previous stay. Rooms and furniture need some upkeep - drawers in the dresser would not stay closed and paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling. Also had a box elder bug infestation but staff was quick to address and clean up.

Room phone didn't work. Was told it would be fixed, never was. Dairy cooler didn't seem to make products "cold", cool at best. Staff was there but aloof. Wallpaper peeling, pool out of service, was not notified on that, maybe i missed that in reading. Bed was comfortable. When my wife picked up a bed pillow, other persons hair was on it. No hangers, no door hooks, or area to hang clothes, no luggage rack. Breakfast was mediocre. Overpriced for quality of stay, and no adjustment was considered, poor PR; or cocern displayed.
