Beautiful place that totally surpassed our expectations. I don’t think the internet images truly give the full picture of how stunning a location. Unspoiled and rural but very chic. Surrounding location is amazing with the beach 7 minutes away and the wonderful towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo within 25 mins. We will return and perhaps make it an annual visit.

If you are looking for somewhere with a pool and spa so you can relax in the sun then this is OK. However, the restaurant menu is international food and very restricted. You cannot drink and drive in Italy, so as this is in the middle of nowhere unless someone refrains form drinking you are not in walking distance of another restaurant. We went to experience authentic Puglian food and wine, so this wasn't the place for us, and we were not the only disappointed guests. However, on the plus side it was in a delightful rural location and our room was excellent.

Wow. What can we say other than speechless. Myself and my fiancé have been wanting to visit the masseria for not only there many experiences and hidden spots to discover, but to view as our wedding venue. We were absolutely blown away by the amazing staff, who went above and beyond showing us around and truly made our vineyard experience one of the best things we have ever done. We compared the rest of our meals and trips from our whole 2 weeks in Italy and really set the bar soaring high considering we came here on our 2nd day into our trip. The grounds really are breathtaking. It is such a unique masseria and one we felt really touched us deeply and is so special. There is so much going on, offering many different activities and places to walk/sit/eat throughout the property, yet it was so peaceful and tranquil you really felt like you are in another world! The decor is truly special, something which drew us to view it as a wedding venue as it is so organic and natural and fun!! We had the pleasure of meeting Alessandra and Giuliano who have created a truly loved and special place they call home. We are very excited to start planning our wedding experience with them. Our experience in the vineyard was truly, and still is the best 6 course meal I have ever had. The presentation, the quality of farm to table produce, the amazing and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make us feel special and looked after. To sit amongst the grapes of wine they create was different to anything we have done before, and the cocktails wow are exceptional!! And I may sound like a MM top fan (which I really am) but the red wine was like no other. I don’t usually drink, but my fiancé will loves wine, and the smoothness and flavour was AMAZING!! If we didn’t drive we would have had another bottle. All in all it was the best experience down to every last detail as it is so well thought out at MM. We cannot wait to come back and stay next year and soon to bring our friends and family to our wedding in the hopes they will share the same love we do for masseria montenapoleone!! Thankyou for making us fall in love with Italy even more Abi & Will

We had high expectations for our stay, also because of the good work the Masseria does on Social Media... but Masseria Montenapoleone beat expectations and became our new happy place in Puglia. It is a unique place with a soul. Reasons to go: Uniqueness / Design: hard to describe, but the design and attention to detail in all areas of the Masseria really touched us. Facilities: Breakfast area, restaurant, dinner in the vineyards, the pool area: everything is beautiful beyond imagination. Staff: we really enjoyed being around the Masseria staff. It seems the concept is that they are allowed "to be themselves while delivering good service". In our opinion, this worked really well. We do not need perfection in service (and you will not find it in Masseria Montenapoleone), but we really liked the genuine kindness of the staff members. Food: Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. For breakfast, there was an Italian lady behind the counter. Her kindness touched us every morning. During dinner, we could not wait for the handmade "bread-box" to come. Homemade bread, homemade olive oil, homemade whatever: all beautiful and tasty. Reasons not go go: The rooms were beautiful with the same attention to detail as the rest of the Masseria. However, even in the largest suite (with apparently we had) the amount of space was sufficient, but not more.

We came for the 'aperitif in the vineyard experience' and it was so lovely! I would say the experience itself of the vineyard and the grounds of the Masseria were better than the actual food you get but the wine was delicious and the set up in the vineyard was so so beautiful - it's definitely worth a visit The hostesses were also very accomodating when we arrived

We had another fantastic experience at the Masseria Montenapoleone. The reception management, Domenica, Paola and Alie, were helpful and attentive. The property is beautifully maintained. And the special gem every day there is António at the breakfast, with his warm service and terrific recommendations for area visits.

The approach to this hotel is very impressive - down a long tree lined drive to a beautiful large masseria, set in charming grounds. We had a very warm welcome, and shown around the property, which is idyllic. The room was not really to my taste. It was if a deranged crafter had been given free rein - stencilling, appliquéing, up-cycling and be-ribboning everything in sight. This was a shame, as the bones of the room were stunning, and it would have benefited from a more pared back treatment. They also do not replace the two small bottles of water after the first day, something that we did not experience in the other masseria that we visited, where water was replaced every day. The food was good, both for lunch and dinner. The guy in charge of breakfast was totally charming and efficient, but I didn’t really like the served buffet - better to make it all served to table, or help yourself, rather than this halfway house, which felt like a hangover from Covid restrictions. There were a lot of flies in the hotel. Not their fault, I’m sure, but we didn’t experience this in any other hotel we visited on our trip. Overall though, a good stay, and despite my gripes, this is obviously a much loved and cared for hotel.

Unique and otherworldly. Set against an amazing backdrop in a great location. Car not essential but helpful if looking to explore other nearby areas. Bike hire available, lovely pool, plenty of different paths available. Bedroom was stunning.

Had such a great stay, would love to have stayed for longer. The attention to detail was incredible.....we barely scratched the surface. The accomodation itself was special, as was the breakfast bar, but will have to go back to explore more.
