Business Trip Stay: A Disappointing Blend of Desolation and Shoddiness
I stayed at this hotel near my workplace for a business trip, and frankly, the overall experience can be summed up as 'desolate' and 'shoddy.' I was quite disappointed.
The location is incredibly remote. Getting to the hotel from the main road means walking down a long path where the weeds are taller than a person. I felt uneasy the whole way, like I'd stumbled into the wilderness, only letting out a sigh of relief when I finally saw the hotel courtyard appear. Amenities in the vicinity are practically non-existent; you can't buy anything within walking distance. If you need something, you have to go to the nearest BIG C supermarket, which is very inconvenient.
The hotel's interior is also very basic. The rooms are lined up uniformly, like a student dorm, and both the facilities and decor are crude – definitely not worth the price. I honestly feel that given the location and conditions, the room rate should be halved to be reasonable. I was charged a 300 THB deposit upon check-in, but the value for money was frankly abysmal. To make matters worse, I was assigned a room on the ground floor and found the window open when I arrived. That night, ants crawled onto the sheets. The room door opened directly onto the courtyard, which left me feeling a lack of privacy and security.
All in all, this was a difficult stay to describe. I wouldn't recommend choosing this hotel unless your workplace is absolutely right next door – after all, who wants to pay to 'suffer' in such a desolate and shoddy environment?
