Decent location, situated on the outskirts of the island's central area! It's quiet, no hustle and bustle like in the center, a good view, fewer boats by the shore, and cleaner water! As for everything else - it could have been better! The cost of accommodation and breakfast are questionable! There are much better places with lower prices and superior conditions! It can be positively characterized, but look around and you'll find better options!

A total nightmare – This is NOT a Resort & Spa, it’s a dirty hostel at best! Rating: 1/5 Staying at Bay View Resort & Spa on Phi Phi Island was the biggest mistake of my trip. This place should not be allowed to use the words "Resort" or "Spa" in its name – the standard doesn't even meet that of a basic hostel. Key Issues: Unacceptable Hygiene: The biggest problem is the filth. The rooms were extremely dirty. I am honestly surprised I didn't catch a skin infection or some other illness. It was a health hazard. "Premium" Villas are a Scam: I booked three of the highest-category rooms (Premier Deluxe Villa with Sea View) for my family and friends. What we received were some of the worst, most neglected units on the property. We changed rooms twice, and every single one was in tragic condition. Zero Service & Ignorance: The management completely ignored my numerous emails and requests for cleanliness. They only responded once Trip.com intervened. The hotel itself showed zero interest in helping their guests. False Advertising: While the entrance area looks somewhat maintained, the further villas are a disaster. Don't be fooled by the photos online. The only "pluses": A nice view of the bay and the breakfast was okay for Phi Phi standards, but that doesn't make up for the disgusting state of the rooms and the terrible service. Verdict: This was one of my worst travel experiences ever. I will never return and I strongly advise everyone to stay away. It was a total nightmare.

Since 2019, passing by this hotel's grounds, we've dreamed of staying in a first-row bungalow with a sea view. It's a secluded spot, away from the island's center and the hustle and bustle of tourist streets. In 2025, we stayed in room B115 at this hotel. We loved it so much that we rebooked for our 2026 vacation – a Premier Villa Deluxe, first-row, with a sea view and breakfast, for 5 nights from April 23rd to 28th. This time, we were checked into Villa B110. At this hotel, it's better to pay a bit more and stay on the first or second row. There are rooms on the hillside, and it can be tough walking uphill. Love Beach is nearby, an excellent beach. And if you walk a little further to Long Beach, you'll find a living aquarium. Bring your masks! There's an incredible variety of fish there. There's also a relaxation area with a pool and sun loungers, which is really convenient in case of big waves. The weather was great during our stay, but we still went to the pool. The water in the pool was warm. Our room had a fridge, safe, kettle, a 19-liter bottle of drinking water, and small bottles were brought daily. There was a large balcony with a beautiful view, featuring two sun loungers, a table, and two chairs. The bed in the room was soft and comfortable. In the evenings, all the pathways were lit up. Breakfasts were varied, delicious, and buffet-style. Coffee was from coffee machines. You could sit on the covered veranda or on the open veranda with a sea view. Upon check-out, they took us to the ferry by boat, free of charge. This is the first hotel we've ever stayed at twice. And of course, if we visit this island again, we'll rebook. We usually try to stay at different hotels, but we really, really loved it here. It’s quiet, surrounded by nature, close to the sea, and has the best beaches on the island. As for cons, it's a bit far from the island's center. But we still walked to the fire show, which happens every evening near Slinky Bar, and to Phi Phi Viewpoint 1 and 2 for the sunset. I recommend this hotel, but choose rooms with a sea view.

I honestly don’t understand the number of negative reviews this hotel gets. Our experience was completely different, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made everything even better. Yes, the property shows some signs of wear, but that’s normal for beachfront places unless you’re paying for high-end luxury. Considering the price, especially for rooms with a sea view, it actually feels like great value. The view from our room was incredible, the ocean with some greenery in between, peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Phi Phi), and everything in the room functioned as it should. One thing to keep in mind is that reaching some rooms involves a fair amount of walking, sometimes under direct sun. This can be tiring, especially for people who are not in good physical condition or who are sensitive to heat. It may not be the best option for everyone in that regard. This is not a luxury resort, but it’s a solid, comfortable beachfront hotel that delivers more than fair value for what you pay. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best options in Phi Phi in its price range, and far more enjoyable than many of the crowded, stuffy places in the center. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at Phi Phi Bay View Resort for one night in a Deluxe Sea View room. The overall experience was pleasant, though I would not classify the property as truly luxurious compared to the price point. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location—the view from the room was stunning, with beautiful beaches right in front of the property, accessible only to hotel guests. The resort also provides complimentary beach bags for in-house guests, which is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety and quality. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the stay comfortable. However, the washroom facilities felt outdated and could benefit from renovation. Additionally, the main market is a bit far, so walking may not be convenient for everyone.

Beautiful setting. Views are incredible. Very hilly so not suitable for people with walking issues. The staff are lovely people and very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit run down and the beach has a lot of seaweed which makes it hard to enjoy a swim.  If this was cleaned at low tide it would be much more pleasant. The resort may be understaffed as the pool bar doesn’t look like it has been used for many years. Overall a beautiful location and good for the price. We had a lovely stay but don’t expect luxury for this price.
