Morris House Hotel

The location was VERY convenient for us to get to Independence Hall, Liberty Bell etc. Did not see many people but ones we met were nice. Standard room was in the newer addition to the hotel and was not quaint. very poor lighting and wall to wall carpeting. Continental Breakfast was just that... continental breakfast, nothing special. Location was key for us.

Perfect location, very clean, friendly staff, loved the building. The discount on the parking garage across the street was very useful.

Very warm and kind staff

Morris House is a beautiful boutique hotel. The room and hotel itself were very clean. Room service was offered daily. They don’t have an elevator, but they help with carrying luggage to upper floors. I did eventually get used to the stairs - they are steep and long. Breakfast is continental with the same options daily. The fruit was fresh and the muffins were tasty. They have a large tea selection for us tea lovers. While a parking garage is literally across the street, it is a little cumbersome to get your luggage from the garage to the hotel. I didn’t know at the time, but you can pull up to the hotel to unload and then park in the garage. I did not know the parking didn’t have in and out privileges, so the parking is expensive and inconvenient given the price point. The location is convenient to many of the attractions and historical sites in old city and city center. I was able to walk to all of those.

We had a king suite which was very affordable. Great location, great hotel. Loved the entire atmosphere. Very quaint and quiet. Staff was very professional and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
