Frontdesk the Hub at 31 Brewerytown Apts Philadelphia

This Frontdesk property got mediocre reviews on their airbnb listings (we rented directly from the company) , but it was in a convenient location to our weekend activities and came with free parking, and it was a last minute trip, so we booked it. Arrived armed with cleaning supplies, but was pleasantly pleased that it was perfectly clean! Stocked well with coffee pods, salt, pepper. and most eating utensils. Skimpy pillows (1 per person and not very good, thin and lumpy), and one towel and washcloth per person, would have been nice to have a bathmat). No extra blankets. So very basic, but again, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the furnishings generically nice. Great value in that it was a proper one bedroom, and again, free parking. Plenty of room to spread out including a big closet. The neighborhood is, for Philadelphia, safe, and there is an Aldi's a few blocks' walk. A few more blocks and you can eat at Otto's Tavern which was terrific! Check in and out is contactless. Although we saw a couple of other people, it looks like at least 20 apartments are being utilized for short term rentals, and given there didn't seem to be any management on site, it was a little too quiet and odd, if that makes sense But overall a good, affordable stay.
