Within walking distance of the train station. Loved everything about this hotel and was sad we only planned for one night in the town.

Nice and comfy, close by many attractions in Phitsanulok. Convenient location and friendly staff. Hence, no hair dryer. Affordable price for that location.

This hotel is a large hotel with a cheap price. The building is old and not very clean, but the quality is worth the price. The location is very good, close to the famous temples of Phitsanulok.

We stayed at the hotel in early December, passing through from Sukhothai to Bangkok. We arrived a little over an hour before check-in, and even though the hotel was sparsely populated, they refused to give us an early room. There's no luggage room, so we had to leave our luggage and a couple of bags behind the cramped reception desk. When we returned to the hotel that evening after exploring the city, our luggage had already been removed from the reception desk and was simply sitting unattended in the hallway. It's unclear why they weren't able to take our luggage to our room after 2:00 PM, since it was so in the way behind the reception desk. There's also another luggage-related issue, which we fully realized a little later. Due to a strange design flaw, the reception area at this hotel is located on the second floor, reached by a rather steep staircase from the main entrance. There's also a very steep ramp at the side, making it physically challenging to maneuver a suitcase with wheels; it's easier to carry it up the stairs yourself. As it turned out later, the basement (essentially the first) floor houses the swimming pool and some other services. The hotel elevator leads there, and there's a service exit from the hotel. The usual hotel luggage carts are also there (yes, the ones with the two golden arches). But we didn't know this when we arrived! And when the taxi dropped us off at the main entrance, no porter, bellboy, or other staff member rushed to help us with our luggage. We lugged it ourselves up the main staircase to the main entrance! The room is quite large, with a nice interior, bright, and fairly new. There's plenty of space, a wardrobe, a small hotel refrigerator, a kettle, and cups. They provide two bottles of water and two coffee bags, but no regular tea. The refrigerator is powered by the main power supply, so it defrosts when you leave the room. There's a safe, but it's not attached to the wall, and ours didn't have batteries, so it didn't work! We went to reception and asked them to fix the safe so we could use it. A young man from the hotel staff came, looked, laughed, realized what was wrong, and left without doing anything. We went back to reception, but still got nowhere! The bathroom was small, with a shower. The shower was covered by a dirty plastic curtain on a crooked, broken rod. The sink itself—a round glass bowl on a countertop—leaked at the base, so there was always a puddle on the floor. There was no regular hand soap! We were given a room on a low floor, right above the restaurant's exhaust vent. And, as it turned out an hour before we woke up, a group of tourists were staying on the same floor and were leaving early that morning. At first, they ran between the rooms and chatted, and then simply poured out into the hallway and continued chatting as a group! You could hear everything in our room; there was no soundproofing! Question: Why, knowing that a large group is leaving early in the morning, do they have to put up guests on their floor in a half-empty hotel? When we entered the restaurant 15 minutes after breakfast began, this group was finishing breakfast (and that was in 15 minutes!) and the buffet was completely devastated. No one was even bringing new food! There was absolutely no fruit left, we had to argue with the waiters, and they brought pineapples and watermelons. But breakfast had only just begun, and there were still people staying in the hotel besides this busload of tourists! The food wasn't particularly tasty or varied, and the coffee was barrel-aged (i.e., completely inedible). The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of the main attractions. The train station is nearby (500 m), but the hotel is on the other side of the tracks. It's easy to walk there lightly along the footbridge over the tracks, but part of the way is on gravel, and heavy luggage on wheels won't fit. We preferred to take a taxi from the hotel to the station (1 km). There are no shops nearby; the two closest 7-Elevens are about 350 meters away, but they don't sell alcohol, not even beer. The hotel left me with mixed feelings: on the one hand, it's not old and is being renovated, but on the other, the staff was completely dismissive. I wouldn't stay there again.

Check-in was after 9pm, but there was no problem. I didn't know much about breakfast because I was staying overnight. There was no problem if you were staying normally.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the train station, where we arrived from Lopburi, and about 15 minutes from the bus station in the center (terminal 1, to terminal 2 outside the city take a taxi). Good location for walking around the city, while the hotel is located in the courtyard and it is quiet there. There is gel, shampoo, but no soap. Two bottles of water. Coffee, there is a kettle. Cleaning every day with a change of towels and consumables. Excellent breakfast.
Very strange reception. We came up and asked to call the bus station and order bus tickets for us to the next city. Usually this does not cause problems. For some reason they started telling us that the terminal is located outside the city and you need to go there by taxi and it is expensive, 100 baht (as if we offered them to go, and not call by phone). At the same time, during the discussion it turned out that tickets are sold on the day of and it is useless to go today, they will not sell them anyway. Denis insisted that it is easier for them to call and book a ticket for us. The porter was desperately slow and said twice that it was very far, then he called, but only asked the departure time. We said, ok, call and book. He started making excuses, saying that they would ask for your phone number, and I don’t know it. We wrote our numbers on a piece of paper, saying, call, here are our numbers. Why don’t you call yourself. Denis says that if they don’t speak English well there, like you do, we’ll just waste money, because no one will understand us. So, after half an hour of talking/persuading the porter, it turned out that tickets can be bought at Terminal 1, which is located in the city, a kilometer from the hotel. We went there, found a window where they sell these tickets, they cost 90 baht per person, but they sell them on the day of departure. At the same time, it turned out that you don’t need to go to Terminal 2, the bus goes through Terminal 1. Buses are at 6, 13 and 17 o’clock. Conclusion: the reception is completely unaware and is not very eager to work.
