Kingo Retreat Resort

The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable, which made my stay pleasant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was the biggest disappointment of this hotel. The food quality was poor, and the dining experience was uncomfortable because the staff kept standing nearby and watching guests while they were eating, making it difficult to relax. What disappointed me the most was being charged for one extra piece of bread. Considering how much money I spent staying at this hotel, this felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Overall, the rooms are excellent, but the restaurant and its service need significant improvement.

Service was very good, Included a trip back to airport, which is very thoughtful. Cleaned the room well, however the insects were able to get in from the door, thus having some ants n spider near the front door, room is big, and spacious, staff are all very friendly. however it is very secluded, near the beach but if its near dark time, i would suggest not going over. as the path in and out would be entirely pitch black. If you were to walk out, may take 20-30 Mins? from Kingo to main road.

Not the best, could be cleaner. Facilities seem a little old. The food is average.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with attentive service and a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Highly recommended However, the location is a bit far from attraction, and there is no moped rental

This is our favourite resort! It’s our second time staying here and we are even more in love with it the staff than the first time! Kai and Diem are amazing receptionists and we consider them friends! Bao, senior server and the breakfast staff Minh and Nuong are always ready to help and waiting with smiles as are all the breakfast staff, sorry I don’t know all of their names. I got bad food poisoning in Hanoi and was very sick the first night we arrived but the staff was very helpful and concerned and helped us through it. They are all very genuine and special people. The resort is spotless and all the rooms are spotless. The cleaning ladies are the sweetest!! The grounds and pool are maintained all day everyday. The beds and bedding are super comfy. The air con is cold and the shower has good water pressure and is hot. Breakfast is super! So many options and all delicious. The most amazing baguette I’ve had in Vietnam and I am still dreaming about it! Many choices of Vietnamese, western and Asian foods. Good coffee and excellent fruit selection. You can rent motorbikes at the resort. There are many options of food close to the resort. There is really nothing I can say negative about Kingo Resort Retreat, I would like to keep the resort all to myself but the secret is out because it really is very good and very booked up especially during the holidays. Really a fantastic intimate resort. Quiet and private away from the busy city of Phu Quoc. We will be back, that is for sure!! 10/10!!!

Nice staff, relaxing and family resort! Breakfast is very good. Beds are comfortable and rooms cleaned. Highly recommended!
