Regent Phu Quoc

Facilities: Quite new, I really liked the design of the hotel lobby. Hygiene: The room was cleaned several times a day. Environment: The hotel environment is nice, with lush greenery, perfect for a stroll. Service: The service was excellent. Most of the staff were very enthusiastic and professional. We got three complimentary laundry items daily, and while the mini-bar snacks were just okay in taste, the variety was decent. Dining: The breakfast had a good variety and à la carte options, and the food was quite tasty. The OCEAN club restaurant was also decent; when we mentioned the crab pasta was a bit too salty, the chef immediately made a new one, which showed excellent service.

The hotel facilities are top-notch. The decor and water features throughout the hotel are incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully executed. The breakfast is fantastic, with both à la carte and buffet options, offering a wide variety to choose from. There are four public swimming pools, all clean and well-maintained, so you never feel crowded. A front desk manager named Angela was particularly nice; she spoke fluent English and took exceptional care of us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, highly recommended for family trips.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. You definitely need to visit on a sunny day; the scenery is incredibly beautiful, and every photo you take turns out great. A special thanks to Tiffany, the lobby manager, who was exceptionally warm and professional throughout my stay, providing a lot of assistance. The service was absolutely impeccable, truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in terms of service. The breakfast was plentiful, the environment was quiet, and the overall experience was fantastic. The only thing to note is that the hotel is quite strict about the number of guests. Villas can accommodate an extra bed, but standard rooms can only accommodate a maximum of two adults and one child under 12. Families traveling with children should confirm their room type in advance. Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Phu Quoc!

Facilities: This was my top priority, and they were excellent, with no noticeable shortcomings. Hygiene: Very clean. Service: Excellent. A butler greeted us upon arrival, helped us check in, carried our luggage to the room, and added us on WeChat for immediate communication and quick responses to any needs. I'm constantly recommending this hotel to everyone; it's truly the best you can get for this price. The room had plenty of delicious snacks, and it was quite spacious. The sea view from the window was fantastic. Breakfast was incredibly diverse and rich, and ordering from the menu was also free. I will definitely come back to this hotel specifically in the future.

Before my trip to Regent Phu Quoc, my expectations might have been set too high. All the posts I saw beforehand raved about the amazing service, with some even saying they controlled occupancy to maintain service quality. To get the full experience, I stayed at the hotel for all 5 nights of my trip, but I was sorely disappointed! First off, as soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, musty smell. I figured it might be due to the rainy season, which I understood. On my first night, I almost couldn't resist changing rooms; the smell was really intense. It got better after I opened the window to air it out the next day, but the scent lingered. Then there's breakfast. On the first day, it was amazing, but I noticed inconsistencies in the attitude of the breakfast staff. I'm not sure if there were some who looked down on Chinese guests? It definitely felt like they treated people differently based on appearance. However, I must mention that the only Chinese lobby manager was genuinely excellent; he was very attentive to our check-in and dining experience. He also helped me retrieve my sunglasses that I'd left in the restaurant. That same night, while showering, I found a hair on the bench in the shower stall. Later, I also found a hair in my pho at breakfast (the hotel sent two chocolates as an apology). I didn't pursue it further; I wasn't looking for compensation. For a hotel of this star rating and price point, I was surprised to find such an old-fashioned hairdryer in the room, which started smelling burnt after just a short use. Over the next two days, the hotel became much more crowded, which is understandable given it was summer holiday, but the hotel's service just couldn't keep up. The hotel's scenery is still quite good. The above is just for reference for fellow Chinese travelers heading to Phu Quoc.

The hotel rooms are well-equipped, and the complimentary minibar is refilled daily. Every staff member is incredibly friendly. After checking in, you can contact hotel staff via WhatsApp anytime to request anything, which is very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality food. We often saw staff cleaning the public areas, so there weren't many mosquitoes or bugs. The hotel also offers free experiences that can be booked online. There's a private beach and free bicycle rentals for riding around the property. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport and just a few minutes from the Sonasea night market, making its location very convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a 20-minute drive from the airport. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and kids' club were all incredibly friendly. The service was thoughtful and well-organized. I'll definitely be back next time!
