The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, right by the ocean. Swimming in the pool is also very enjoyable, and it's quite large. They offer a buffet breakfast with a great variety, which I think is a must-try in Vietnam. However, the room itself was pretty average and felt a bit old.

Staying here was a nightmare for our whole family because it was just so incredibly dirty. We couldn't even walk around without shoes on, and taking a shower at night felt stressful. The breakfast was also unappetizing, especially compared to the delicious breakfast we had at Mangobay, which really left us disappointed. The room size was extremely small. The public areas weren't great for photos, and the pool was also dirty; my child even pouted and refused to go in because it was so unappealing. This hotel also tried to sell us their car rental service.

This hotel experience was truly a love-hate one. Let's start with the downsides: a sudden power outage in the middle of the night plunged everything into darkness. What was even more frustrating was that the shower and toilet were completely outdoors, with frogs hopping around in the restroom; I absolutely dared not go alone. The advantages were also very clear – the environment was incredibly natural, with the sounds of insects and birds, and the fragrant scent of plants and trees. During the day, you could get a close-up feel for the seaside. One experience was enough for me; next time, I'll definitely choose a place with indoor bathroom facilities.

We got a great deal to stay in one of the beach bungalows right on the sea. Because of the fab price I am scoring the resort higher than I would have, if we had paid full price. The location is fantastic and it's right on the beautiful clean beach, with white sands and Chrystal blue waters. Breakfast is fab and the manager Hue is always checking in to make sure guests are happy. The pool area is beautiful and the pool is huge and lovely. Our beach bungalow was nice but more rustic than I would expect for a 5 star resort. Bed is huge and incredibly comfortable but that's the only real positive thing I can say. The balcony furniture is thick solid wood and not comfortable to sit on. The air con is very weak and I was always hot. The bathroom is very large but looks like it needs a spruce up and is prone to toads and geckos. If you are looking for luxury then I think you would be disappointed.

There were quite a few mosquitoes, and the privacy in the cabin's shower felt a bit lacking. The staff were very welcoming and there's a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, plus internal shuttles within the resort. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard. Coming during Chinese New Year, the price was triple, so I feel it would be much better value to stay during the off-season.
