Godiva Villa Phu Quoc

A really great and affordable hotel, made up of two-story villas. The area is very green. We had a room with a balcony on the second floor. The room included a safe, a large bed, a TV, and air conditioning. Breakfasts were simple but very tasty, with a decent selection. It's not far from the sea, about a 15-minute walk. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel. We stayed from January 23rd to January 28th. Next time, we'll come for a month!

The hotel is good for its price. The location is convenient, there's a small pool, and a massage parlor at a reasonable cost. A tuk-tuk took us to the sea, and we were told to call for a pick-up. We messaged her to pick us up, and she asked us to wait 15 minutes. In the end, 40 minutes passed and she said to wait even longer. We were already standing on the road, so we had to walk back. When we got to the hotel, she wasn't doing anything, just sitting there – it was extremely unpleasant.

Perhaps the only upside was the price. And on December 31st, the hotel owner even prepared a festive meal at no extra charge. Everything else was a downside. All the staff smile at you but refuse to help with any issues. The description mentioned a balcony overlooking the pool – in reality, we were given a room where the 'balcony' was a public walkway staircase with a view of a wall. Breakfasts were very meager – there was nothing to eat. Beach or pool towels were constantly unavailable; you had to grab them early in the morning before they were all gone. The bed linen had holes. There were ants in the room. The towels were dirty, or just old and couldn't be washed clean. I got food poisoning at breakfast at the hotel.

Godiva Villa offers the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway: cozy, quiet, and surrounded by lush greenery. I was especially impressed by the impeccable cleanliness — the room always felt fresh and spotless. The staff maintains order discreetly but very thoroughly.
