Hotels in Ong Lang, Phu Quoc Island

Not the first time that I’ve stayed there but this time there was quite a bit of garbage in the water and on the beach. While the garbage was not the hotels waste, it was sad to be in the ocean with all of the plastic bags etc around. Many of the guests there put forth a strong effort to clean it up, and there was effort from the hotel staff as well to get what was washed up, but sadly we felt like more could have been done (ie sweeping the beach). We also would like to note that the service around the beach/pool could have been better because they were sold out of many options for our entire stay. All of this would not deter me from staying again. The rooms are amazing, the bathrooms absolutely incredible, breakfast is great, the grounds are gorgeous. But it was sad to see the lack of care regarding the ocean that could have been easily cleaned.

A place that captured my heart! We specifically looked for a more secluded option to escape the noise, and this was exactly it. We spent our evenings on our private veranda, listening to nature. The property has a large area with lots of flowers and greenery. The bungalows are spaced far enough apart that you can't hear anyone else. When we arrived, only 3-4 bungalows were occupied, but guests kept arriving throughout the week, and we still never ran into anyone. Good breakfast options. You can rent a scooter directly on-site. Housekeeping cleaned every day, and even when we declined, they still brought fresh water and clean towels! The staff was very welcoming.

We stayed at this hotel in March, booking for 5 days to unwind after our flight and explore the north of the island. I deeply regret not booking more days at this incredibly cozy hotel. My next hotel is in the center of the island, and 3-4 days there would have been sufficient for visiting the south, the cable car, shows, and island hopping. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, a break from noise and crowds, then this hotel in its idyllic setting is a must-visit. The hotel grounds are lush with flowering greenery, with several types of orchids blooming on the trees. The outdoor furniture is made from sturdy and beautiful natural wood. There's a small pool surrounded by lovely flowering plants, and even tiny pineapples growing! The hotel comprises 10 comfortable bungalows, ensuring peace and quiet at all times. The hotel is new, the furniture is new, the bed is comfortable, there's a large TV with Russian channels, and a fridge – everything works perfectly. All the plumbing is in excellent condition, with a rain shower head, good water pressure, and hot water always available. The shower room and toilet are simply a delight! There's a gap between the wall and the roof, allowing plants to grow in from outside (it's a shame they hadn't bloomed yet) and hang over the shower. In the mornings, we woke up to birdsong before heading to breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious, with beautifully presented coffee and other dishes. You could help yourself to 3-4 kinds of fruit, while everything else was served individually by a waiter. You can also order room service throughout the day. The room had everything we needed: a comb, shower cap, toothpaste and brush, soap, and a razor – all replaced daily, even the comb. There was also shower gel, shampoo, robes, and slippers. Previous reviews mentioned a lack of a drying rack for clothes, but now there is one. The beach is less than 5 minutes away; we walked very slowly, and I recorded a video of the walk, which came out to 6 minutes. We loved the beach too; to the left, there were many Instagrammable spots for photos, and to the right, wild nature. The sand was light, squeaky underfoot, and the sea was clean and clear. As for prices in the north, everything was much cheaper and tastier at all the restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We bought fruit from stalls along the main road. We really miss ”Agarwood Garden.” It's a wonderful place, with a creative and caring owner and lovely, friendly staff. There's an affordable shop on site with all the essentials. A huge thank you to the hotel owner for his creative ideas that made our holiday unforgettable and filled with pleasant memories.

I stayed for two nights and there was a free shuttle service for airport transfers. You need to book this in advance via email. The hotel is located in the north, about a 30-minute drive from the airport. Getting to the south takes about 45 minutes by taxi, so the location is a bit out of the way. The entire hotel has a very natural, rustic feel. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and the staff member directly brought our three large suitcases up to the room. They also helped with our luggage when we checked out. If you're walking around the hotel grounds and see a shuttle, they'll also take you wherever you want to go. The service was absolutely excellent. There were a few small insects in the room and the bedding felt a bit damp, but it was acceptable. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted very good, though the restaurant is semi-open, so it could get a little warm. Overall, I was very satisfied. On our last day, extending checkout by one hour cost 500,000 VND, which was a reasonable price.

A wonderful experience. It was my 5th stay at Camia and I always feel like coming home🩵the people make the biggest difference to other hotels in Phu Quoc. They are all amazing and very genuine. Kate Duang Thay (Deputy FOM), Lucy and Nhung Tran Restaurant Sup been knowing me and my family for years and always take extra care of my stay. The property is well maintained and has everything you need. Love coming back.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone—you definitely won’t regret staying here! I would also like to mention the amazing breakfast and the hotel’s Chocolate Hour, which was a truly unique and enjoyable experience. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

The hotel is located in village area, so, when I get out of the territory it was technically a village road with chickens, cows and homeless dogs and several several simple cafes. It gave me a sad feeling , because it felt isolated but also nature ( which I was hunting for) was not that great at that part of the island: beach looked abandoned and the way to there was dirty and had a very poor view. By the way, the hotel itself is very cozy and green, reception is helpful and a small dog and a cat with tiny kittens live there. That was very cute. If you want to feel lost and spend time in a distanced cozy place with minimum infrastructure, you may like the district.

The views, beach, and connected pool were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was standard, but nothing special. Service was decent, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a special discount for guests spending at the poolside, which was a nice bonus when checking out. The hygiene was perfectly fine. It's quite convenient for visiting attractions in the northern part of the island. I feel like I made a good choice.

We were more than satisfied with this hotel and can absolutely recommend it! 😊 The hotel is small, but incredibly cozy and very welcoming. The entire property is very clean and was lovingly maintained every day – this also applies to the pool area, which was always tidy and clean. We especially want to highlight the staff: everyone was truly very, very nice, helpful, and friendly. No matter the request – they always tried to help immediately. We felt welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. To our pleasant surprise, we even got a larger room than originally booked – great service! The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Fresh towels were provided every day, which we greatly appreciated. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and the hairdryer was also very good. Each room also includes a balcony with a small kitchen. Additionally, every room has a nice massage chair that you can use for free – a real highlight after a long day. Although we didn't use the kitchen ourselves, as there are many restaurants within easy walking distance nearby – it's a great option for anyone who wants to self-cater. We also found it convenient that you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel to explore the surroundings flexibly. All in all, a wonderful stay – we would come back anytime! 🌴✨
