This is my second time to Como Point Yamu and it does not disappoint if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. The food and Como Shambala spa are top-notch with excellent service from everyone. And there is a one for one happy hour usually in the main bar, great for chilling out.

There were so many mosquitoes in the restaurant, they kept flying into my face. I also found a huge spider in my room. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, and it doesn't have its own private beach. A housekeeper took one of my room keys from the table without asking. In the room, one of the two central air conditioners seemed to be broken and only blew hot air, making half the room cold and the other half hot.

The hotel environment is absolutely top-notch! The lobby is incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, giving off a vibe of a 20,000 RMB per night hotel in China, like an Aman resort – very secluded and private. However, the flip side of being so isolated is that it's quite far from the city center! It takes about an hour to get to Patong Beach in Phuket, and each time I called the front desk for a taxi, it cost 800-1100 Thai Baht. Still, I highly recommend staying for at least two nights!! This was the best decision I made during my Phuket trip; I booked the Phang Nga Pool Suite. Apart from the occasional cockroach or gecko, I honestly had no other issues. It's very natural and wild, haha! I personally understand it, especially since it's in a tropical climate… I wouldn't attribute that as a problem with the hotel itself. So yeah, that's pretty much it! I'm giving it a 5 out of 5! ❤️

As a COMO fan, my stay at COMO Phuket was, to put it mildly, a mixed bag. The hotel's hardware is impressive; although the decor isn't brand new, the architecture and overall design are still on point and feel very high-quality. The location is quite secluded, perfect for a relaxing getaway, but consequently, it's a good distance from popular or even niche beaches and the bustling town center – most trips require at least a 30-minute drive. Two nights would have been sufficient; staying for six nights, the latter half felt quite boring. Service-wise, there were clear shortcomings. The staff generally had a friendly attitude, and I especially want to commend the kids' club staff who were incredibly patient and warm with the children. However, from a management and training perspective, many details didn't meet the standards expected of this brand. For instance, there was an error with our room type during check-in, and issues with the bill at check-out. On several occasions, due to language barriers (English), our requests weren't correctly understood, leading to incomplete service. These multiple minor blunders accumulated, detracting from the overall experience. Another rather surprising detail was the welcome fruit platter in the room. It felt very cheap, offering just two pears or two oranges daily. This is incredibly perfunctory for a hotel of this caliber; they might as well not offer it at all. As for the breakfast buffet, the selection was identical every day, which became quite monotonous. For a 2k+ per night hotel, this stay certainly fell short of expectations.

This is my fourth time staying at Como, and I still love it. The service is consistently high-quality! My only regret is that the hotel's exclusive Beach Club is no longer there... so, seize the day! 😂

Excellent resort but a very short stay for us as we were headed due east to Santhiya Koh Yao Yai. We'll be back! 

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The views, design, amenities, and service are all top-notch and definitely worth the price. I booked the Phang Nga Pool Suite, and while they gave me an inner-facing room, I would have preferred one closer to the outside, but unfortunately, they were all fully booked. During peak season, it can be around 3000 RMB, but I checked the prices when I left, and for the off-season, a room with a private pool was just over 2000 RMB. They offer a good variety of dining options, including Italian and Asian restaurants, depending on your preference. The prices aren't cheap, as they include tax and service charges, but you can also order takeout. Breakfast is extensive, and I'd recommend booking a package that includes complimentary breakfast.

Loved everything—the room, the view, the food, the yoga class, the big pool, and the atmosphere. And the staff is very friendly too! Absolutely perfect!

Although the hotel doesn't have a beach, the scenery is unique and every spot is distinctive. The room hygiene is excellent, facilities are new, and amenities are updated regularly. You absolutely must book a room with a private pool overlooking Phang Nga Bay; the sunsets are breathtaking. Breakfast is quite special, though the serving speed could be improved.

My recent stay was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience publicly. On the third morning of our stay, around 8 AM, my family and I were having breakfast in the restaurant. A young male server was offering ginger shots to guests, going table by table. He first offered them to a Caucasian man and a Thai woman sitting next to us. After a noticeable pause in front of our table, he then completely bypassed us, without any inquiry or gesture, and offered the shots to two men sitting behind us. He never returned to our table and proceeded to approach another Caucasian couple. The entire incident was crystal clear; there was no obstruction of view or communication misunderstanding. We were seated right by the aisle in a prominent spot, making it impossible to be 'overlooked.' This selective service behavior makes it hard not to interpret it as discriminatory treatment. We paid for a high-priced villa, and as such, we are entitled to equal and basic respect. The most fundamental principle of the service industry is to treat all guests equally, not to discriminate based on appearance or ethnicity. If this was an individual employee's action, it points to a serious lack of training; if it's the prevailing atmosphere, then the problem is even more severe. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I have a clear understanding of the service standards expected from high-end hotels. A high price doesn't necessarily mean high standards, but it should at least guarantee basic respect. Unfortunately, this hotel failed even at that. I hope management addresses this issue and provides a public response. A high-end positioning is not sustained by room rates alone but by attention to detail and attitude. Any form of subtle discrimination should not be ignored.

Had a fantastic experience, extended my stay for 3 nights. The breakfast was unique, and the swimming pool was amazing, with an endless beautiful view. Every staff member was incredibly polite. A great resort! 👍

The room was clean and tidy, with a strong Mediterranean vibe. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful sea view. The breakfast was delicious, healthy, and offered a great variety. The hotel staff were very warm and attentive.
