I was very disappointed with my stay here. When I first entered the room, I found a large number of ants on the table. We informed the staff, and although they came in to spray and it helped a little, the problem was only partly resolved. After that, we tried to lie down and rest, but the pillows and bed linens had a very unpleasant, musty smell. The pillows seemed extremely worn and did not appear to have been properly cleaned from the inside. Even the blanket had such a strong odor that we had to keep it away from our bodies. The next day, we asked the housekeeping team to replace everything, which helped somewhat, but after they finished cleaning, the entire floor was left soaking wet. The mopping was done very poorly, and the tile floor became dangerously slippery ... a guest could easily have an accident because of this. Many items in the room were old and not suitable for a hotel of this level. The outdoor bathtub was also difficult to use because it kept turning on and off by itself. The worst part was the bathroom: the bidet spray was old, stained, and looked too dirty to use, with visible buildup. The bathroom floor and walls clearly needed an urgent deep cleaning, with mold and soap stains everywhere. It was uncomfortable to even shower in there. There was only one bath mat provided inside the bathroom, which meant that after using the outdoor tub, walking back into the room left the floor wet. There should also be a mat at the balcony area for guests. The artificial grass on the balcony caused dust and sand to stick to our feet and get tracked into the room, making it feel even dirtier. The positive aspects of the stay were that the front staff were attentive, the food tasted good, the water pressure was strong, and the view was beautiful. However, overall, it did not feel worth the price paid, even if the rates were little lower compared to other hotels of the same level. And lastly, during check-out, there was no staff available to assist with our luggage. We had to carry and load all of our bags into the car by ourselves, which was very disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
