R-Mar Resort and Spa Reviews

The twin room with a city view was terrible. It was on the first floor facing north, with another building just a few meters away that looked rundown and dirty. The air conditioning unit outside was buzzing loudly, completely ruining my holiday mood.

Good located hotel, close to Bangla rd and Jungceylon, but hidden from street noise. Breakfast was ok, but not exceptional. Complimentary massage in spa was excellent. The only problem hotel has is a "towel" issue. You can't take or leave towels at the pool, or ask for a dry one there. You can only swap it from cleaners, which is inconvenient and cheap for 4* hotel.

Everything was great! 👍 It would be perfect if they had self-service laundry. In Thailand, washing clothes every day is the biggest challenge, and drying them is also very inconvenient. I suggest they learn from domestic hotels like Atour.

The staff prepared a birthday surprise for me, it was a total surprise and they organized so well that it was seamless!!! The hotel is perfect in the noisy and busy patong area. They have restaurant, spa, gym and pool... everything you need for a holiday!

Pros: perfect location just in a middle of everything, but in the same time its cozy, quite and peaceful. Cons: no walk-in shower in room, only bathtub with a rather inconvenient and even dangerous entrance (see photo). Please keep this in mind if you have sore legs and/or you make 30,000 steps a day (which is common if you are staying in Patong). In any case, we really enjoyed our stay at R Mar Resort and will definitely book it again next time we come to Patong. 10/10 – perfect for us.

This was an amazing hotel that had a lovely atmosphere and wonderful facilities, I loved the pool area and the pool bar was a delight. My room was wonderful too, I had a great view of the garden and it was so peaceful. The staff really made the place feel special because they were so friendly and helpful. Reception could not do enough for me, they were so accommodating. The pool bar staff were so friendly and helpful too. I also enjoyed going to breakfast every morning as it was such a peaceful and lovely place to enjoy the early morning. Again the staff were wonderful. I also used the spa facilities, again, a wonderful experience. I had a foot massage and a full Thai massage. The best massages I have ever had. I was so sad to leave as I loved relaxing around the pool in the day.

Very nice little hotel in the very center of Pa Tong. Only a few minutes walk from Bangla Road. Shame that Phuket has changed so much recently though, but the hotel was still very nice!

Nice hotel with great location. Right smack in the middle of the action in Patong but secluded enough to be quiet when it matters. Rooms slightly dated but everything works well. If there's any criticism, shower in room 1206 was not great and I felt the air conditioning, although nice a cold, did not have enough air moving. Mabe need stronger fan or additional ceiling fan.

Great stay at the R Mar Resort in Phuket, great location for easy access to cafes, Thai restaurants and local foot massages. Rooms were excellent and so was the pool on the hot days, also had a gym that you could do a workout in although weights were limited. Also a nice hot sauna to finish off with. Totally recommend R Mar Resort.

Regretted staying here. Booked for three nights. Found a strand of hair at the bedside table on check-in. Room floor was not cleaned properly on subsequent days wand felt sandy. Room was next to a night club and we could hear the thumping music till past 3am. No lift going up to the third floor with steep steps. Breakfast was bland and caused food poisoning on day one.

Only niggles were WiFi cutting on and off and lack of mirrors in room apart from that the stay was excellent.

No objection in music..can call friends over..excellent location..restaurant inside is also very economical
