Mövenpick Myth Hotel Patong Phuket Reviews

The service was great and very attentive. The pool had a fantastic vibe, perfect for photos. The hotel also offered a free tuk-tuk shuttle to Jungceylon and Patong Beach. They provided complimentary desserts every afternoon. The location was convenient, and the photo opportunities were excellent. The spa was decent, not amazing, but perfectly fine; reservations are required. The only downside was the faucet in the bathroom sink; the water pressure was difficult to control and would often spray too much.

This is my second stay at this hotel, so I'll give some honest feedback. On the first day, there were no face towels provided. I called the front desk and asked for a 'facial towel,' but they sent hand towels instead. Also, the shower door was a bit loose, so quite a bit of water would leak onto the bathroom floor when showering. And the soundproofing is really bad; when someone next door closes their door, it's enough to make you jump. Other than that, everything else was good. The hotel's decor is very beautiful, and they offered welcome drinks and snacks upon check-in. All the staff members were also very friendly.

The location is excellent next to Patong beach have a free shuttle bus to the town with free chocolate to eat nice staffs

The hotel is located in Patong, so the location is decent. About 90% of the guests are Caucasians, and the pool is pretty much surrounded by them by midday. Check-in is at 3:30 PM, but we arrived around 1 PM and were told we couldn't check in yet, so we went out for a bit. We came back after 2 PM, and they said we could check in, but our room wasn't ready. They took our number and asked us to wait. We waited until 3 PM, and people who checked in after us were already in their rooms. We had to ask twice before they finally took us to our room. I won't be coming back here again.

A Romantic Boutique Escape! "The Mövenpick Myth is the perfect romantic getaway in Phuket. We loved the stunning colonial-style design and the peaceful, high-end atmosphere. The lagoon pool is beautiful for a relaxing afternoon, and the daily 'Chocolate Hour' was such a sweet, unique highlight of our stay. It’s close enough to the Patong action to be convenient, but quiet enough to feel like our own private sanctuary. Highly recommend for couples!"

Much better than expected! The hotel is a bit older and shows some wear, but the breakfast was comprehensive—I stayed for five days and never got tired of it. There's a small but entertaining kids' play area. Plus, they offer free chocolate every afternoon and a shuttle service to Jungceylon.

This hotel is huge, but it's exceptionally clean. It has a lot of character.

We booked two family rooms, and they were spacious. The pool was also nice. It's a short walk to Patong Beach, and Jungceylon and the bar street are all very convenient. The breakfast was pretty good, and there was free chocolate in the afternoon.

Clean hotel with an excellent location, but it is not beachfront. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not my preferred decor style, but it was clean and the location was great. Patong Beach was within walking distance, and currency exchange nearby offered good rates. The room size was also quite decent.

Facilities: It feels like one of those old American-style hotels. The room was indeed spacious, but the facilities were really outdated. The toilet didn't flush properly; I had to flush it twice 🫥, and water splashed everywhere from the sink. The most unbearable part was the water temperature constantly fluctuating between hot and cold (this shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel). Also, the bathtub in the room was tiny, and yellowish water came out 😰😰. Hygene: The overall environment was okay, but on our first day, there were bugs in the room, so we had to switch rooms later. Service: I can only say that Trip.com's service was good, but the hotel's front desk was really slow 🙃, leading to an average experience. Oh, and the breakfast was also mediocre. In summary, I don't recommend this 5-star hotel in Phuket; it's more like a place to avoid. It's expensive and the experience was terrible. Out of five hotels I've stayed in, this one left the worst impression.
