KK Karon Kata Boutique Hotel Reviews

Location is good. Walking distance-take around 10mins walk to night market. Top floor swimming pool with view but a bit small. Clean room with comfy bed. Breakfast has small selection at buffet counter but u can orders fresh hot dishes such as eggs, noodles & rice. We had couple of hours without power due to the area power outage. My husband couldn't sleep without air-conditioning 😅

Cleaning could be better all in all, for 4 stars it was a good hotel. Drainin was horrible, but if you don’t like long showers you are all good.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location if you're not looking for a wild nightlife scene. The only downside is the rather limited breakfast. As for the rooftop pool, there's no possibility to order food, not even at lunchtime. In any case, I'd still recommend it.

A nice hotel in walking distance to Kata and Karon beaches. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Nice rooftop pool. Comfy bed. AC is good. Room is cosy. Although we could have used a balcony or at least a window to be opened in order to drying clothes. Breakfast was basic, but coffee was good. They offer airport transfer in case you can’t call a grab. All in all we recommend to stay at this hotel and might come back.

Hotel receptionost had promptly changed to different room for locked Air conditioner with different language other than english and impossible to control temperature. On request we were able to keep bags at the lobby after check out.

Not much value for money. The room is small, the hotel is small, the pool is small, and breakfast is poor. Definitely not worth the price.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and there were enough amenities nearby.

Our least favorite (and most expensive) hotelstay during our one month trip. Cleaning is sub-par, bathroom had little bugs/flies running over the floor and sink throughout the week likely from the sewage. Also the floor was not vacuumed during our 1 week stay. Saving the 1-star terrible rating as it could have been worse, but definitely bad or “poor”. Location for this hotel is terrible, yes it is close to the beach but at a price. This hotel has 0 soundproofing, you hear everything on the main road till early in the morning. (To make sure you always here something the hotel has their own speakers with music attached directly to the walls nicely resonating into the room). Also the area is ONLY russians, any person who came to see a bit of Thailand i higlly advise not to go to this area. Let’s call the location “poor” because of this is what you look for you find it here. Service at the reception was medium, not bad but also not exceptional. At the rooftop bar it was worse, when asking to clean some mess left behind by others at a table we would like to sit we were told to clean ourselves. Let’s assume it was miscommunication but seemed otherwise. Amenities are average, nothing special, breakfast is small but okay. Except nothing special. For the price just not worth it, had more service for less at another hotel nearby.

The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for: clean, new, location. It is absolutely clean and well furnished. It has a swimming pool (not that big) on the rooftop which offer nice view at morning and for sunset. The location is really perfect, is it perfectly between Karon and Kata beach so you can walk to both. Karon beach is the nearest and the best for sunset (only a few minutes walking away). It's also near Kata restaurant and markets.
