The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute bike ride to the beach and a 5-minute bike ride to Patong's bar street, or you can even walk. Downstairs, there's a convenience store, laundry service, restaurants, and a pub – truly a great spot. The room itself is also good. The sheets and duvet are changed daily by staff every morning, and the mattress is very thick. The room has a safety lock, and on the 4th floor, there's a fridge and microwave. Even the toilets in the communal bathroom are very clean. I stayed for 5 nights and only encountered Europeans – not a single Chinese person (maybe all the Chinese people stay in villas). Everyone would say good morning, greet each other, and chat. The atmosphere was lovely. The front desk is staffed late into the night, so they can help with any issues you have. There's a 500 deposit required.

The hostel was excellent. The cabin room I rented was spacious and well laid out. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The downsides: the air conditioning operates on a schedule (which wasn’t mentioned in the description, or I may have missed it), and it’s not very close to the main area of activity — about a 15–20 minute walk. Other than that, it was great. I definitely recommend it.
