Fisherman Way Beach Villa Reviews

Photos don't do this hotel justice! I booked based on the pictures, but I was still pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to my room. The beachfront setting is superb and perfectly complements the 'Fisherman's Way' theme. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was fresh, and it was thoroughly serviced daily. The service here rivals luxury hotels like the Ritz-Carlton. For example, one evening, after I'd bought groceries from the supermarket next door, the security guard at the entrance proactively offered me a buggy ride back to my villa, and another guard instantly took his place. It's only 4km from Rawai Seafood Market, so we went for fresh seafood dinners every day. Alternatively, you can buy seafood and cook it yourself, as the kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, and a stove. There's even a washing machine and a sea-view double bathtub – truly perfect! I particularly loved the two rows of white benches by the sea; they have such a charming, artistic vibe. The resort also has various cute animals, and we even received a deer mascot as a checkout gift! A friendly tip: when feeding corn to the deer, try to cut it into smaller pieces, otherwise, hahaha!

Deeply Disappointed – Insects, Cover-Up, and Poor Crisis Handling We had high expectations given the price point, but this stay left us truly disheartened. The insect problem: On our first night, our 2-year-old woke up itching badly. The next morning, we discovered insects on the bed. When we reported this, the hotel dismissed it, claiming the insects were harmless and implying we had left doors or windows open — which was simply not true. We were extremely careful throughout our stay. The cover-up: The following day, we found the living room drawers completely infested with insects, with the drawers visibly chewed through. When we raised this, staff admitted they already knew about the problem and had reported it to maintenance — but maintenance “hadn’t had time” to fix it. They knew. They said nothing. They let us check in anyway — with an elderly family member and a toddler. The response: After much back and forth, their solution was to ask us to check out by 12:00 PM that same day. Completely unreasonable for a family travelling with a baby and an elderly person. They then offered an alternative room — older than ours — which we declined out of concern for more insects. We eventually settled for two complimentary breakfasts, a thorough clean, and reimbursement of our child’s medical expenses. The final insult: When we submitted the medical receipt of just 2800THB, they refused to reimburse it — claiming the doctor’s note didn’t specify the allergy was caused by a “poisonous” insect, and asked us to get the hospital to amend the report. We were catching a flight. We had to argue firmly before they finally agreed to pay. At no point did the hotel proactively communicate the known insect issue. At no point did they show genuine concern for a child who had an allergic reaction on their premises. Every step required us to push back. For a hotel at this price and positioning, this level of negligence and deflection is unacceptable. Any comparable hotel in other markets would have handled this with far more accountability and humanity. No

The service was great, and the hotel was beautiful, but why was the pool so dirty and why wasn't there a changing room?

All rooms at this hotel are stand-alone bungalows, located near Chalong Pier, away from the bustling areas of Patong and Kata. This makes it super convenient if you're heading out to Racha Island. The individual wooden bungalows have a great vibe, and they come with a kitchen, cutlery, and cooking utensils, so you can easily prepare your own meals. There are also large supermarkets, fresh markets, massage places, and restaurants nearby. I think it's perfect for a longer stay. The price of just over 700 during the off-season is excellent value for money. Just remember to book in advance, or you might miss out!

Facilities: All rooms are well-equipped, including a washing machine and a drying rack. Cleanliness: The swimming pool started to get dirty and had insects on the third day. Environment: The environment is great and very comfortable. I'd definitely come back again. Service: Very satisfied, the staff were very enthusiastic and changed towels daily.

This has to be in my top three hotels ever!!! Such a pleasant surprise!!! My friend and I even bought seafood from the huge supermarket next door and cooked it in the room – it was amazing! There are so many cute little animals inside, so adorable and friendly. You can tell they've grown up surrounded by lots of love and kindness. It feels a bit like a small community. Besides the fantastic massage (the best I've had in all of Thailand!) and discounted restaurants, can you believe there's even nail and lash services? Riding a bike around the grounds is now a precious memory that makes me want to cry happy tears just thinking about it. Everyone, go stay here, seriously!!!

The hotel villa is huge and has two swimming pools. We originally thought we couldn't check in until 2 PM, but to our surprise, when we arrived in the morning, the butler was very welcoming and had already prepared our room. The butler gave us a tour of the villa area, and we even got to feed deer and chickens, which was a fun experience like being a farmer! Here, you can enjoy an unparalleled sense of tranquility, and every staff member at the villa is incredibly friendly, quick to resolve any issues. I also have to praise the hotel's banana chips! I bought eight bags to take home. We stayed in two different room types, both very comfortable, and we'd definitely come back given the chance.

A great place to chill out in Phuket! This hotel really gave me and my child some wonderful memories. It felt like being in a secluded paradise. We'd sleep in every day, then head out to explore the old town, try some shooting, or take a stroll by the beach. It's truly a fantastic escape from city life.

We stayed in a cabin, and it was very well-equipped. The hotel has all sorts of animals like chickens, ducks, geese, and deer, which the kids really enjoyed. The roads within the hotel are all sand and small pebbles, but the staff were always available to shuttle us around. The hotel has its own beach, but the sea water was quite murky. There's a supermarket nearby where you can buy ingredients to cook your own meals. The hotel service was a real highlight; they even helped us arrange a taxi driver when we checked out.

The natural environment is fantastic, with a mini waterfall and a stream behind the cabin where a few swans gracefully swim. The pool is close to the beach, and the evening views are absolutely stunning! What truly deserves the highest praise is the service—it's absolutely top-notch. Extremely friendly, thoughtful, and attentive. Beyond five-star service! 😀 There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It’s perfect for a vacation with young children. Highly recommended! ❤️

This was my first hotel in Phuket, and the staff were all very friendly. The environment was beautiful and relaxing. There were lots of small animals around the hotel, and each villa came with a bicycle, which was super comfortable for riding around. The infinity pool was also stunning, perfect for lounging by all afternoon. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Phuket.

Absolutely fantastic! The butler was incredibly helpful, providing full explanations, introductions, and even escorting us for transfers. The plane was spotless and the service exceptionally attentive. The air conditioning was turned on in advance, as were the mosquito repellents, and there was even a thoughtful jug of iced water in the fridge for guests. There are various restaurants and supermarkets close to the estate. The private villas offer plenty of privacy, with each one spaced far apart, and there are animals everywhere which adds to the charming atmosphere. Honestly, I can barely find fault with this hotel; it's truly worth experiencing.

The service was excellent and very welcoming. The cabin we stayed in might be a bit spooky for two girls alone, but overall it was fine. The environment was beautiful and clean, without any trash. Plus, there were little animals to see, like cows and lizards.

The pictures online look much better than the actual place. Before staying, I thought the cabin already looked very American, but after trying the other one, it felt super awesome too! Turns out, you really do get more comfort for a higher price. It's a shame I only stayed two nights. Service: I was surprised there was a WeChat group with several staff members. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and their replies were incredibly quick!
