Ruen Buathong Boutique Hotel

If you're like me and just looking for a place to shower and sleep, the value for money here is decent, although the room is definitely due for some maintenance. The window view is basically a concrete wall, so you could say there's no view at all, haha. 😄 It has all the usual amenities: a fridge, kettle, and toiletries. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Jungceylon shopping mall. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. Housekeeping is by request, which works for me. At the reception, there’s complimentary tea and coffee available anytime, and they provide water for your room. For the first few nights, I had to sleep with an eye mask until I covered all the indicator lights and turned off the illuminated display on the air conditioner (the 'light' button). The hotel is located down an alley off the main street, which means it’s quiet from traffic noise. However, those 15 meters of alley are a bit of a nightmare with rats constantly scurrying around. But then again, this is Patong – rats and cockroaches are quite common everywhere here. 😖 Thankfully, there’s nothing like that inside the hotel itself.

The bath water temperature fluctuated wildly, and there was no toothbrush provided.

A small boutique hotel located in the northern part of Patong, near the sea. The room is clean, the furniture is decent, there's a refrigerator and a kettle, and complimentary coffee and tea are available at reception, along with hot and cold water from the water dispenser. Cleaning is done if you put a sign on the door, and towels and bed linen are changed, along with a couple of bottles of water. Toiletries, shampoo, and soap are also provided, all in mini sizes. I have nothing negative to say, and the price matches the quality; for 2,000 rubles a night, it's more than decent. Everything is nearby: currency exchange offices, a 7-star restaurant, and Tops. There's a good food court right across the street as you walk out onto the street, inexpensive and delicious. It's a 10-15-minute walk to the shopping center and Bangla Road. By the way, the hotel provides beach towels. Have a great stay and fun!

The balcony was very cozy, and overall it was a cozy place. There was a closet for clothes and it was fairly clean. The towels were a bit stained, and the beds were hard (I usually can't sleep on those), but it was fine here. The shower leaked between the shower head and the hose, but we decided to do nothing about it and didn't ask. Water was provided in plastic bottles.

Excellent hotel. We loved everything; it was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent, close to everything you need. The interior is beautiful. Overall, we're very happy we stayed here. We're extremely grateful to this hotel and its staff.
