Lost in the middle of the Corsican countryside after a winding road we discover a pretty house with a superb view of the village. When we arrived, we were not welcomed, we were looking for someone despite having informed us of our arrival time that morning. When we warned by telephone, we ask the price of the evening meal, we are told that it is 25€ wine and coffee included, we ask the price for our children, we are told that it is the same price because we are told that the children eat a lot...and we are told that there is a snack bar not far...not very welcoming, nor commercial... The lady who receives us knew that we were arriving at 4 and 2 cushions and 2 towels were missing which are nevertheless brought immediately. Nothing serious. No shower gel-shampoo in the rooms, only 2 small soaps. We expected better for 140€ per night... We had a good night, the place is quiet and the air conditioning was appreciated because it was very hot. The common fridge is a real plus too. The next morning we go to breakfast on the outdoor terrace. It is a simple continental breakfast. We are told that you have to pay €2 tourist tax, but the tax is €0.49/adult and children under 18 do not pay. We report it to the lady on principle but she seems surprised... We also report that the bag of coffee present in the room has expired since 2015. When we leave, the gentleman who barely said hello to us comes to ask us how is it possible that there is a freeze-dried coffee that has been expired for 6 years in our room... Unbelievable! In short, we do not keep a good memory of this stop despite a nice setting....
