Though it is basic, it is complete with ac, hot water shower, tv, free wifi etc Near to many restaurants including 24hr restaurant around the corner, small park to exercise ,supermarket etc. Nice mountain view nearby. Location was central in a small town, with several restaurants within walking distance, though not much to do at night. Room was sufficient, though hotel is in dire need of upgrading. Old facilities and furniture, looks very run down. Staff were generally OK and responded to the WhatsApp requests, although the night shift man was very unprofessional and unhelpful - slept on the sofa in front of the check in counter, had to be waken up just to ask him for some directions. Generally OK for a 1 or 2 night stay when in the area, just for sleeping.

received a free upgrade to deluxe room as we have waited too long to check in. the room was both comfortable and newly furnished, ensuring a pleasant stay. Despite encountering an issue with the TV, which couldn't be resolved, I still managed to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was good but could have been more variety in the options offered. Currently, only one restaurant is open. overall, we left feeling content with our stay, appreciating the efforts made by the hotel staff to accommodate guests and ensure a pleasant experience.

Our family of 10 (aged 13 to 81) booked 3 units, Tapir, Kantan & Lanai for 2 nights in June. This place is surrounded by forest, perched high enough to enjoy views for miles around, with durian trees scattered throughout. We appreciated the fresh air, the incredible scenery, the flora & fauna, the feeling of spaciousness, the cooler temperatures & the fact that we could pick durians off the ground & eat them on the spot. If you detest insects, must have everything working quickly & efficiently (the place is slightly worn & some parts in need of maintenance but generally clean & comfortable), can’t live without wifi, must sleep in air- conditioned rooms & have to be fruitfully occupied with “activities”, then this is probably not your holiday destination. But if you hanker for space, solitude, long periods with nothing to do except enjoy the chirping of birds while reading a book, floating in a pool surrounded by gigantic trees, or just playing board or card games with friends / family, then please drop by for a stay. The manager & staff were friendly & helpful, food was decent, and beds very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.

For a night stay, check in on 25 Dec 2020 was a breeze, the 2 bedroom Suite is comfortable and spacious. Room has minimum amenities, unfortunately no kettle set up as stipulated in the website. There is no food outlet but it is not a problem to us as Hotel is conveniently located near walking distance from Cafe and Shops. A Simple, comfortable & Ideal Budget Hotel to stay if you do not care much about luxuries !!!!!

As far after viewing some negative feedback at A Famosa, we have some worries but still giving a try for our short stay in 4 bedroom pool villa. We checked in around 4pm and everything go smoothly. Our unit no is 1022, end lot which we have so much of privacy and fun time in the villa with kids. Villa is clean. No mosquito, aircon works. Although utensils in kitchen a bit less as we have only plates and cups, not even a washing detergent provided. You have to bring your own cooking stuff if you plan to cook there. We have a great time in the villa. Thank you A Famosa.

I arrived at 10 pm on 23/7/22, my confirmed booking was not on their system and the hotel was full. When I was navigating google map at 6 pm, they were still selling rooms at about 3 times my booking rate. Check in as early as possibe if you want to stay here, if not your confirmed room will be sold.
