Tropical Island B&B

The place is super cute and the owners are very kind and helpful. We had a nice ocean view room they we really enjoyed! The only negative is that there is no wifi in our room, even though the listing said there is wifi. They had it on the first floor but it doesn't reach our room. That was quite inconvenient and could likely be an easy fix by an additional router. The location is a bit far from the ferries, but if you have a scooter it should be ok. There are also lots of food nearby. As a side note, breakfast is not on site and is about a 10 min walk, and it is two vouchers for you to buy from the stand.The food was decent but keep in mind there is no seating at the food place!

Not recommended if you don’t speak Chinese The hotel is well-run, peaceful, comfortable and clean, and the staff is very attentive and friendly and tried their best to help and take care of me. They helped me arrange the hiring of an electrical bicycle (you definitely need a vehicle on the island). The bed was super comfortable. Still, I won’t recommend the hotel if you don’t speak Chinese. It was too complicated to communicate and arrange things, such as arrival time (the reception not open all day). They can only be reached by phone... The location was also super difficult to find, even for locals. They don’t offer a pick up service like most other hotels, and it’s almost impossible to get there on your own. I think the island only has one taxi. On arrival to the island I had no clue how to get to the hotel, the tourist information had to help me out. The breakfast place is far from the hotel. The view from the balcony was not very nice. Although the location is away from traffic noise, I woke up every morning at 6 am by a dog constantly barking.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice seaview and cosy garden.
