Hotels in Main Street Kenting, Pingtung

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

It is a nice place to stay. Location is good for night market & near the bus stop (in front & opposite of the police station). Can rent Youbike which few minutes walk from hotel. Must try the ice taro balls at the night market. Miss it very much 🤤🤤🤤. P/s: there are 2 Kenting Hostels with different locations but nearby…make sure you go to the right one 😊

No bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.

The location is incredibly convenient, and the hotel facilities are excellent. A night market is right next door, which is a fantastic bonus. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, making it a great spot for both couples and families. I will definitely be returning. The staff were also incredibly polite.

The hotel is convenient few blocks away from main bus station. The building opens to the beach which we walked half minutes to enjoy the waves. Reception staff was amazing and super helpful.

The overall facilities and environment of the hotel are not worthy of this price. If you don't drink alcoholic beverages, you can only exchange the bracelet for alcoholic beverages for 120 yuan of soda. After the exchange, you will be given a small aluminum can of Coke sold at the convenience store for 10 yuan? The network signal in the room is very poor, so it's better not to connect. The TV Netflix interface is very basic, and you can't even watch Netflix in the original room. The drain hole in the shower is seriously blocked and almost flooded. After reporting to the counter, the hotel staff said that they would use their time out to deal with the room. After coming back, they told us that they had dealt with it, but there was no result. As a result, I had to call the counter to complain in the middle of the night. After a long time, they opened another room for us to watch Netflix. The service attitude of the hotel staff was very good. It was entirely a problem with the hotel's own hardware equipment. Although the attitude was very good and apologized the next day, the compensation plan given was to delay check-out by 2 hours + give a free upgrade coupon for the next stay. To be honest, why should I spend 8,000 or 10,000 to suffer? But it is worth praising that the breakfast is delicious. Breakfast is the only place that makes me feel worthwhile on the whole trip.

This is an older resort hotel in an excellent location to reach the nite market and other shops. Bit occupancy is lacking and the hotel feels desolate

Everything was very clean and attractive and close to the beach. We had the room on the ground floor, which despite having a window didn't have a view of the outside. However, the seating area in front of the hotel was pleasant with the afternoon sun. Breakfast is not available in the hotel, but on vouchers in a nearby bistro, or rather fast food restaurant, with a small sandwich and tea in a plastic cup. That brought our stay down to a low level. Coffee lovers can get it from the Nespresso machine at reception.

Very friendly check-in. Basic but mostly good accommodation with aircon. Spacious capsule, but the mattress is thin & your hips, shoulder, back, etc. have pressure on the base, making for uncomfortable sleep. Also, capsule itself has no ventilation so it gets hot inside even with the room well air conditioned. The doors are quite low, so tall people should take care. Seems to attract a good type of guest. Clean bathrooms, nice common area, and very close to the Kenting Express bus stop at the local police station, and just meters from the night market with a plethora of food options, clothing stalls, balloon shooting, and sexy barmen serving very expensive cocktails (visual admiring is free, though).

The location is excellent, near beach and night market. The room is huge with amazing sea view and balcony and bath tub. You can see the sunset from the room. That totally worth the money! The bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. There is no service though, barely see the staff at the reception desk even when I check out , no one was there. The breakfast is just very basic, don’t expect good taste.
