Though the room is small, it has everything you need! It's super convenient as it's just a 2-minute walk to South Street, and surprisingly quiet at night for a good night's sleep. The host is also incredibly warm and welcoming; he gave us a detailed tour of the ancient city map right when we checked in and even drove us to the high-speed rail station. Oh, and the breakfast is 100/100, very generous, and the courtyard is super photogenic. All in all, fantastic value for money, definitely worth staying again!

Lovely little hotel, very close to the Confucious Temple and city wall gate, operated by a sweet family. The son was very helpful in coordinating our travels and train station pick up, and the father went above and beyond in picking us up from the train station, and he suggested a walking route of the entire ancient city. Breakfast, served in our room by the mother, was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

The hotel is located inside Pingyao Ancient City. Since outside vehicles aren't allowed in, the owner provides parking outside and then shuttles you to the hotel, which is quite convenient.
