Our first room had bad damage and a mold smell. When we brought it up, they offered us to change rooms. We checked out three other rooms and they were all worse than the first. Because of time constraints, we decided to just deal with the first room and ask for a discount/partial refund. Management refused to do anything (even though the rate on THEIR website was lower that week than what we found on booking). So my friend asked if there was a room without carpet at least, since we assume most mold issues were coming from there. They said they had one room. This room was only marginally better but had plumbing sticking out of the wall in the shower, they couldn’t be bothered to remove the armoire to finish laying the laminate floor so there’s random carpet squares there. The painted over wallpaper in the whole room and there’s water damage and mold on it. Baseboard and trim areas were not nailed down properly and disgusting. Room wasn’t swept the majority of the time we were there and I don’t know if that’s something you have to ask for or not, but I would assume it would be done since they change towels. After we complained to booking, the manager came up to us in the morning, interrupted a conversation we were having with another guest and said “you complained to booking, now we have to solve this, how much do you want back?” We told her we had to be on time for a meeting but we could discuss the partial refund when we returned. She agreed. Later that day, we get an email from Booking saying that the hotel was only willing to refund us the remainder of our stay if we checked out that night. Mind you, we didn’t receive that email until around 5:15pm and we didn’t get back to the hotel until 8pm. We had also already explained to the manager that we weren’t going anywhere else which is why we only wanted a partial refund, to try and be fair. So not only did the manager choose not to discuss it with us as we’d agreed, but also tried to kick us out. Booking wanted to give us a full refund but couldn't without the corroboration of the hotel, per their vendor contract. So I contacted my bank for a chargeback and will be submitting photo evidence. A shame we had to go through all of that though. I would definitely say save yourself the trouble of dealing with this hotel.

We only booked this hotel so that we could take the ferry boat to Sifnos very early the next morning. It was presented on the internet as 'stylish and class', but that is disappointing. It is located on one of the busiest streets in Pireaus, so you also get a lot of street noise at night. Result: poor night's sleep. The reception was friendly, but that was it. You can park as requested...at the back in a very dark street and when you can loosen the chain after a whole procedure. Not feeling safe. You then have to drag your luggage through bumpy streets to the entrance... Parking in front of the door is hardly possible due to crowds. The elevator to the 6th floor(!) was very tight and sweltering. And that was also the room for which you easily paid € 109. Small, musty and a lot of noise on the street side. In addition, the air conditioning was also noisy. we hardly slept. The evening meal took place in a room that resembled a kind of separation room of a crematorium. Creepy! Because we had to leave early in the morning, we could not have breakfast, but they said '...We will provide a breakfast box...' It contained 1 hard-boiled egg, 1 plum, 2 pre-packed rusks, 2 jams, and plastic cutlery. You had to take coffee separately. A disgrace. Together with dinner we paid € 145 for a 'horrible overnight stay'. There must certainly be nicer hotels in this very busy and preferably avoidable city. Take another ferry in Pireaus? I do not think so!

I will write this review in English, even though I am Greek so future guest will be aware. First of all, I booked a double room for 1 night stay. When I checked in and entered that... let say 'room' 303, which looked more like a rat hole, I called the front desk & asked for availability for a superior room with the hope of a larger and more descent room... During the conversation I asked about the difference of the price and the receptionist (Mr Christos Kiriakidis) mentioned that it would be 86€ although I was holding my cellphone checking it real time & it was 70€. He said it was his bad. I agreed for that price of 70€. I came down to the front desk, took my new key for room 707. The moment I entered the room it smelled cesspool intensely! Calling again Mr Christos asking what could have happened with that situation he replied, in a bored tone of voice, that it is really difficult to call the maintenance at that time to check the problem. I asked for another room, he told me to come down and pick up the key of 708. When I told him that it would be already the second time I would visit him and since he is by himself he could pass me the room card by the elevator and proceed with the cancellation of the previous card, in order to avoid that. But no. He would rather reply to me in a sarcastic way ”you know, it is your choice to change rooms” I my FCKIN GOD! I went down the reception once more to receive the key for room 708 and asked him politely the email of the hotel management and then Mr. Christos Kiriakidis came in a bullying way, replying ”that would be me! I'm the manager!” I couldn't help it but laugh. Yeah dude, relax. You would slap me in the face if you could, right? I thought to myself. Anyway, going up in R708 the tv was not working, there were 2 single beds (although my initial reservation was for a queen/king size bed) and the floor was dirty. Walked barefoot for a minute and my soles were black already! Regarding the tv Mr Kiriakidis replied that this was a general problem. (”Yeah man, ok.”) I shall give the credits for the park view & the renovated bathroom. Overall the hotel is really old & dirty and employs rude staff. Totally not worth the price/per room/per night. Kindly note that there are plenty of renovated hotels in the area with way more reasonable prices (it is best adviced to check the 'Piraeus City Hotel') with well trained with at least basic principles of courtesy. A late cruise booking needed a single night and found this place after other cruisers had recommended. We were on a late flight so no need to go into Athens centre as we wanted to get on the ship early not do tourist stuff, Pretty good location for most things in the Piraeus area if staying more time. Very friendly and helpful staff both in the evening and the morning. We were late(10:30pm) and looking for something to eat, directed to the local kebab place Kali Pita by the old harbour just a couple of mins walk, huge portions and decent prices just what we needed, so full we skipped breakfast so can't comment on that We had one of the refurbished rooms although compact a good design with sufficient storage with small balcony the shower was great proper walk in. The superior rooms with terrace look nice from the pics. One attraction was the included cruise shuttle, this place had a lot of cruisers that morning so our chosen time could not be met as the driver was busy back and forth to the cruise terminal, not a problem, they called and paid for a Taxi which was way more than expected. we checked a few booking sites and the price varied quite a bit, but as it was still covid and winter prices were very low. Would consider again for a pre/post cruise stay.

Had to stay in Greece for a few months. I can honestly say that i could not have found a better place to stay. The Staff were helpful & wonderful, the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with all amenities close by including restaurants & transportation. The value for accomodation is excellent and i would highly recommend this hotel. One thing for sure is that upon my return to Greece i will definitely book here again. Big Thank you to Dimitri, Helen and all the other lovely staff that made my stay most enjoyable.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel during five nights. Everything was excellent from start to finish. I arrived at the check-in desk on Aug 26th 2023 at around 11am and my room was ready. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and attentive. I proceeded to my room which was very clean and cozy, it easily accomodates at least two adults and one child. All toiletries included. To my surprise, there is even a small balcony. The main purpose of my stay was to rest and I greatly accomplished this. The rooms are very quiet with regards to outside noise. Noise coming from the hallway was barely felt and it has more to do with how other guests unlock/lock their doors and how hard they close it. Overall it was a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I am not giving this hotel an ”excellent” because it is not a 5-star hotel. But we really enjoyed our stay there. We had a long ferry ride from Santorini, and before going to city center Athens, we just stayed here for the night. It is three blocks from the ferry station. The customer service is fantastic! There is a restaurant on site which we used - the food was great. This area of Athens is not like Plaka but there is a feel of ”true” Greek life here. Lots of cafes, like two of three per block, it was crazy. But back to the hotel, I liked it and would stay here again. It was modern, clean, and very reasonably priced.

Place is nice and subtle. Pretty quiet street with a few bars. It’s close to the ferries so if you plan on taking one and wanna rest first head here.
