We were a late arrival (11:40 pm). When they went to check us in the individual at the front desk realized their computer system was down so they wouldn’t be able to check us in nor provide us with our room since they weren’t able to see what room we were in. I was told the night manager was upstairs and she would be down shortly. When she finally came down, after making us wait for about 40 minutes, she never came over to speak with us about the situation. Eventually another individual showed up (from his home) who we assumed was the owner or general manager. He was able to get us into our room, but not after another 20 minutes had passed. While we can understand that stuff happens, no offer of any compensation for having to wait a full hour to be able to get into our room was ever made and we were both too tired and frustrated to ask at 12:40 am.
