The facilities are new and well-equipped, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the surrounding area is also very convenient. Breakfast was just okay.

I probably won't be staying at this hotel again. The front desk staff had a strange attitude. I arrived just after noon, and they warmly apologized, explaining the room wasn't ready. They estimated a two-hour wait but assured me it would definitely be ready by 3 PM, which is reasonable. So, I waited. At 2 PM, I checked again, and they said it would be another 45 minutes. Again, this seemed reasonable, so I continued waiting. When I inquired at 3 PM (each time with the same staff member), I was bluntly told the room still wasn't ready, and they had no idea when it would be. This was particularly frustrating as 3 PM is the standard check-in time.

The staff were friendly, and the location was very convenient, with restaurants, schools, hospitals, and pharmacies all within a 10-minute reach. The breakfast was simple and lacked variety, and daily housekeeping was not provided. However, a small kitchenette was available for guests to cook their own meals.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Pitt and Carnegie Mellon. It's also very convenient to get to Costco, Target, Panda Asian Supermarket, various specialty small supermarkets, and restaurants by bus. The room is well-equipped with all the usual kitchen essentials, and the refrigerator is a practical, full-sized one, not a mini-fridge. The room is clean, tidy, and spacious. What's particularly noteworthy is that this is the most female-friendly bathroom I've ever encountered in a hotel. The lighting is absolutely perfect for women who need to use a mirror or apply makeup daily. It's very bright, with a color temperature of around 5500K, which is a godsend for makeup application. I've stayed in countless hotels, and even five-star ones often have bathroom lighting that isn't ideal for women. Women don't need mood lighting in a hotel bathroom; they need practicality! Perhaps all hotel designers are male, which is why they overlook this critical flaw for women. So, this hotel is truly worth staying at, especially for women.
