Everyone was genuinely nice and helpful. The front desk ladies had a lot of good recommendations for us and they went above and beyond with the card sent for my friend’s birthday. Our room overlooked the beautiful pool and ocean. I couldn’t ask for a better location in Placencia! I would definitely stay again!

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable. Everything sparkled. The staff were so kind and always making sure we had everything we needed. I had the best massage from the highest point in Placencia! The restaurant and pool bar staff were fun and took great care of us. This is my absolute favorite place in Placencia.

Incredible stay! Fantastic location with very welcoming staff. There were issues with the plumbing in the room reserved but they upgraded us to the Penthouse suite a no extra charge. This room was incredibly beautiful. A couple minor plumbing issues that were quickly rectified. They delivered a personalized note every evening and were extremely responsive. Shadine at the front desk was a very informative and kind human. Thank you for making our time in Placencia so fantastic. Strongly recommend this gem of a hotel.

We loved everything about our stay at The Ellysian. The room and bathroom was huge, clean, beautiful large deck, comfy bed and pillows. The pool and beach were amazing, with lots of seating, close aceess to the beautiful water. Paradise! And we can’t say enough about the friendly and always helpful staff. Best rum punch in Placencia! We highly recommend this beautiful oasis.

The Ellysian Boutique Hotel provided us with superb customer service and great facilities. Jacqueline and Sheleen and Vanessa went well above and beyond for us. Norman is a helpful and courteous driver. All in all, a great welcome to Belize!

This has been my favorite stay of all time (and I've stayed in countless properties.) This is 5 star service all around. First, their bartender, Vanessa, makes the best mojitos and the welcome drinks are amazing. Second, the entire front desk staff is top notch. Both with making sure we had everything we needed, managing reservations, and the amazingly personalized notes sent during turn down on a tray with a candle... I am just in awe at how many details and amenities we had during our stay. The room had everything we could ever need and the ocean view was amazing. The housekeeping staff did an amazing job at keeping the room spotless. Everyone and everything was just amazing.

I cannot say enough good things about the Ellysian and the staff! It’s a beautiful hotel on a beautiful property on the beach. The staff are amazing and went above and beyond for their guests. We spent 6 nights there and they even helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary at the rooftop restaurant Muna. I can’t wait to go back!
