I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this location was genuinely disappointing — especially given the circumstances.
My stay coincided with a declared state of emergency due to severe winter weather, which made clear communication and basic support even more important. Unfortunately, communication from this location was extremely poor. I reached out multiple times with questions and concerns and received little to no response, leaving me without guidance during an already stressful and unsafe situation.
When issues did arise, there was no sense of urgency, ownership, or follow-through from staff. During a state of emergency, guests rely on hotels not just for lodging, but for accurate information, responsiveness, and a basic level of care. That expectation was not met here.
I understand that unexpected situations happen — especially during severe weather. However, how those situations are handled matters, and in this case, they simply weren’t.
I would strongly recommend additional training around communication, escalation, and guest care, particularly during emergency situations. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this location again.
