We have been going to Plakias for 30 years and this has to be the worst room we have ever had. The hotel is very tired, bathroom was tiny and the shower was minute. The bedroom was adequate but dated. There was a fridge which ran all night and sounded like a jet plane. The view from our balcony was a refrigerator graveyard. 2 hotels shared the breakfast room so sometimes couldn't get a table. After complaining reception staff showed us another room but told us we would have to pay 15 euros a night extra. Also no hand rail on the spiral marble staircase. Overall not the best holiday experience.

10 days stay in September 2024. Room small, but clean, everyday cleaned with fresh towels. Quiet, air conditioning included. Located on the quiet small street with no traffic. Our room was on ground floor with small.balxony from the street side, but very quiet. Fantastic breakfast seevice with the big range of food.

I was actually there in September 2022 and I'm going back again this year. Myrtis is the older, less swanky partner to the hotel next door. The reception staff are lovely, very smart, professional and helpful and they are based next door so Myrtis has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. Myrtis is also where the excellent breakfast is served and where the main swimming pool is. The hotel next door has a small pool on the roof. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, airconditioned and adequate. The hotel is close to the main village and the seafront but on a side road and far enough back to be peaceful and quiet.

The Hotel Myrtis is a really simple hotel. It looks a bit shabby in places in the entrance area. Our room is tidy, the bathroom is extremely simple. You can take a hot shower, but you always end up flooding the bathroom. From the balcony I have a view of lots of nature, the birds are chirping, a rooster is crowing and you can also see cars, but I find it very, very peaceful. The breakfast was a positive surprise. I think there are lots of delicious things and it's nice to sit by the pool. All in all, I think it's OK for a cheap hotel, but I wouldn't book it again.

Porto Plakias/Myrtis - sentralt i Plakias Hotellet hadde ikke åpnet for sesongen så vi bodde på hotellet ved siden av, Porto Plakias. Fine, lyse rom med bitteliten balkong. Siden vi var to av fire gjester i hotellet fikk vi servert frokost på brett i resepsjonsområdet. Vi hadde tilgang til basseng og takterrasse, men fikk ikke nyttet dette pga vind. Ved Myrtis hotell var det fint basseng i hagen men vinden var for sterk også her. Vil tro at både Myrtis og Porto Plakias er fine hotell å bo på når det er innenfor sesong. For oss var oppholdet litt spøkelsesaktig pga svært mye vind og tomt hotell.

Rustig 3 sterren hotel en goede locatie. 3 min stappen naar strand en restaurantjes. Kamer was goed, alles aanwezig incl ijskast alleen stond die te hard en kon niet stiller zetten. Genoeg berging in de klederkast maar voor max 1 persoon. Badkamer heel basic; kleine lavabo, wc en douche. 1 ruimte; na douchen wel hele vloer nat. Dus misschien ook kleine aftrekker voorzien . En geen ruimte voor toilettas. Had terras met zicht op de bergen; rustig en ruim . Ontbijt was heel goed; voldoende keuze, samen met ander hotel porto plakias , vandaar beter ontbijt denk ik. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk overal. Zwembad ook gezellig maar geen gebruik van gemaakt.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel und Fußläufig sind Restaurants und Shops, sowie Strand gut erreichbar. Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, dass ich je auf Kreta gesehen habe, sehr liebevoll alles hergerichtet. Das Hotel ist klein aber Oho, auch Doppelzimmer und Bad eher sehr klein geraten.
