Very bad experience! I originally booked a twin room, but when I arrived, I was only given a single room! The dryer is old and the sanitary conditions are average.

I stayed at the renaissance for a business trip. For which my company has not only used this hotel for lodging accommodations for all of our employees from around the globe but has also rented their facilities for company events.
During this stay, I needed a late check out due to my transportation arrangements and schedule. When I phoned the front desk, not only was I greeted as though my stay had not cost me $1200.00 USD but rather some cheap hotel and was told that my floor and another floor were not allowed a late check out. I wasn’t even asked if I could be accommodated in any other manner. Which, if I had been asked, the hotel holding my luggage would have sufficed. I asked for a manager and was told to call in the morning. I didn’t have time to visit the front desk in the morning as I decided to lug around my bags into my office instead and all the while having to rearranged for my transportation, previously arranged to pick me up from a different address.
After this experience, I will share with our events coordinator so she can inquire how everyone’s stay was and consider changing to a different hotel.
When traveling for business, I don’t usually leave things to chance because I can’t. This was very inconvenient as during these specific trips, we don’t have time for delays. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received, this having been my 3rd stay with the Renaissance Hotel.

Chose hotel for location convenience to Ft. Lauderdale airport and planned shopping at Sawgrass.
Staff helpful - stored luggage after early arrival - there were milk and cookies offered at checkin.
Adequate parking, lovely lobby. Restaurant with limited evening menu - had a burger for take out to room - ok.
Regular coffee brew packs in room, were not refilled despite specific request to housekeeping on leaving room.
Had some lobby blockoffs last day in because Dolphin’s players were in hotel - not too disruptive.
would stay again for location.

Not offering Wifi as a part of your room is pretty bad considering you can get wifi at a coffee shop for a cup of coffee but not with your room for your stay? Breakfast buffet is not good at all. Service is pleasant but food is terrible. McDonald's would be a better breakfast for 1/4 the price. Not enough towels. 3 towels is not enough for 2 people. Showering is a normal thing. The only saving grace would be location is pretty good and staff is friendly. Other than that just stay at a Holiday Inn. It would be cheaper and better. That is the par we are dealing with.

Only negative is that they ran out of parking but allowed us to park in a handicapped spot. The bar staff were Awesome and we had a great stay!

Super hotel, highly recommend. Room was set up beautifully-great decor. Bed was very comfortable, sheets spotless and soft. Pillows were lovely quality. Bathrooms were also great and the Aveda products were a nice touch.
Hotel shows no sign or wear and not “tired looking” as so many these days.

I had two nights reservation in this hotel. It was canceled because I checked in late for the first night. I wanted to check in at 6:30 am of the first day. The reception guy was so unhelpful and told me that I have no reservation. By the way, the reservation was paid couple of days before I got there.
