Hotels near Mióptica, Playa Blanca

This was our fourth visit to Princesa Yaiza and it never fails to disappoint. We visited with my husband and two kids (4 &1), my dad and my brother and his girlfriend. There really is something for everyone! The hotel is luxurious, comfortable and clean and the staff are all so welcoming and helpful. The kids loved the soft play, playgrounds, pools and the beach. They really had the times of their lives. We enjoyed how family friendly the hotel is and the comfort of the room, the food and the chilled atmosphere. We already can’t wait to go back!

Can't praise this hotel highly enough. I was there for 10 days in December 2024, returning home on 26 December. My daughter and son-in-law joined me for 6 days over the actual Christmas period. From checking in to checking out the whole stay was fantastic. The staff are all amazing, every single person including restaurant, bars, reception, housekeeping, gardeners. Everybody was really friendly with a ”hola”, ”buenas dias”, ”good morning”. There was a friendly atmosphere among the guests too. There were people from all over Europe, quite a few of whom were returning guests. The rooms are spotless and spacious with great facilities: two tv's (one in the bedroom area and one in the lounge); plenty of wardrobe space; great plumbing and hairdryer in bathroom; no extra charge for the safe; large terrace. There are rooms on two floors but there isn't a lift so be careful about heavy suitcases. We had a massage in the spa, which was very relaxing and professionally done. Pool area and gardens are attractive and well maintained. The entertainment programme is the best I've ever experienced with a wide range of singers and musicians, all of whom were excellent. The hotel staff prepared an amazing Gala Dinner on Christmas night. starting with cocktails and canapes then a fantastic buffet including caviar, lobster, and other delicacies. The cakes were tempting but I couldn't eat another bite so didn't sample them. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from the promenade, beach and old town centre. I had a special birthday while I was away, which the hotel generously helped me celebrate. I have never been away at Christmas before but this experience has given me a taste for it and I'll definitely be back. A huge thank you to the incredible H10 White Suites. The Mynd Yaiza this year was too expensive ., even though we got extra money of 540 euros for only having our room cleaned once. You get more money if you choose to not get your room cleaned . Checkin was quick, so quick he forgot to tell us the different dinner and breakfast arrangements and the guy wasn't informative enough. The pools were always fairly empty as it was too freezing cold to swim in. Needs to be a heated pool there. The weather didn't help. We had rain, wind and sand from the desert. But also sun and warmth most days. Dining... better with the buffets.. food was OK. Desserts delicious. It cost 31 euros each out of our allowance and we had to carry around a big piece of paper with our calculations, minuses for food, signed and checked every day. A bit unprofessional. Most staff are friendly and helpful but not all. Some treat you like children and say eg. Blackboard at the pool bar, she said ”SPANISH THIS SIDE, ENGLISH THIS SIDE... doh, yes I can see that. Too far from centre. Unsafe dining chairs, we saw 2 people lean back and the backs fell off. Dining room too dark. Entertainment poor. Layout in foyer all wrong. Not enough seating. No wifi signal on phone in . bedroom Too cold in the foyer and bedroom. Air con wouldn't turn up. We had extra blankets but cold when coming out of shower. Good points... Good powerful shower, comfy beds,friendly barstaff and reception. Free smoothies, Irish coffees etc Benefits of not having room cleaned every day. Apartment very good on 1st floor Clean areas Don't think we'll return.

First thing we enjoyed the break and it was good to have a some decent weather. As for the hotel it just needs some adjustments to make it a better place. Rooms are looking tired. Cleaner needs training on how to clean the bathroom. Apart from that the room was okay. Sorry but entertainment wasn't for us. Again the stage area looks tired and could do with a refurbishment. Staff are friendly and had no issues. One thing the hotel need to look at is training staff on first aid. Girl fell off a wall and hurt her arm and took us 3 times to ask for ice. They don't know what to do with a first aid incident. Waterpark was brilliant. My son loved it every day. Main pool is okay but the pools were absolutely freezing. I would give the food 5/5. Best food I've had abroad. Great selection and never left feeling hungry. Well done chefs. I love Lanzarote and will come back and would consider coming back to paradise island if they maybe freshen the place up. My son loved the holiday and so did we.

We had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

Want a great holiday in Lanzarote Then Hotel LIVVO Volcan is the place for you Just came back 4-11th Oct The hotel is lovely, staff helpful, friendly nothing to much trouble Location right on the marina perfect for bars resturants ( all budgets) and supermarkets x3 water etc Breakfast, to much choice 1/2 dozen types of bread cold and hot offers a plenty ( 4 toasters) Egg Station Evening meals ( we took the 3 night offer, like to eat out some nights) Again great, hot grill master chef at work, soups hot cold, salads omg everything, Ice creamn 4 flavours spuds (have a mixed grill Roast, Mash, Spanish Spuds & Mash :) You will not be dissappointed Hotel room spotless, aircon very easy to use ( most hotels aircon never work properly) Fridge, Kettle, Plenty 2 point sockets everywhere. Yes we are going back in March(booked) and again later Brendan & Jayne Byrne

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful hotel in October. We were slightly apprehensive upon seeing some reviews but very glad we followed though and booked this hotel. The staff are amazing and very helpful, the facilities are more than satisfactory. The food and drinks are the best I have had in an all inclusive hotel and I have been to several 5 star all inclusive. We will most definitely be returning to the Rubicon Palace in near future!
