Havona Hotel @ Plentong - Self Check-In

This is the first time I've encountered a chain brand that's this dirty! The duvet was filthy, and I specifically asked for it to be changed! I went out for a bit, came back, and the room had been tidied, but the duvet was still dirty. The funniest part is they tried to hide the dirty side by flipping it over. Do they really think guests are ****** who won't check under the covers? I just checked out on the spot, I was so disgusted! Seriously, don't bother visiting Johor Bahru, the value for money is terrible, and Grab drivers refuse rides way too often.

It's very cheap and clean, pretty much as expected, similar to Havona CIQ. Areas for improvement: 1. We arrived around 5 PM and had to wait 30 minutes because the front desk said housekeeping needed time to prepare the room (which was a bit hard to accept since check-in time is at 3 PM). 2. The room they gave us was spacious, but the bathroom sometimes smelled of smoke (and there was a broken sauna, felt a bit like a backup room). 3. There's not much to eat nearby... Overall, it's very clean and the facilities are well-equipped (though the TV in our room was broken).

Cool room, clean environment. I'll definitely order again because the room is also tidy and spacious.
