Villa Lario Lake Como

Incredible experience. Truly a dream like Villa to stay at. From the entrance to the first host welcoming you it feels like 5 star luxury. We stayed in the Master Suite and it was amazing. The amenities, bar, location and staff are A+. We had the time of our lives celebrating our anniversary here. It was worth the price, my wife and I are planning the next time we come back. I highly recommend staying here

1 Star customer service. I got terribly sick and was given a credit after spending $2100+ for 2 nights we couldn’t make. I’ve been having health challenges the past 2 years and now I’m told that credit is void but they “hope I’ll remain loyal.”

They have loud partys so its not possible to sleep anywere near this Hotel! Have asked numerous times to turn off the Music! At 23.41 still wery loud! Its a wedding with a LOT of drunken people in and around the Hotel! If you vant Peace and quiet select another hotel!!!

We had a two-bedroom suite with a patio overlooking the lake. The service was great...the property was perfect. Great areas that felt so quaint and romantic to have cocktails or hang our from the lake doc to under the enormous trees down below to the pool area. The staff was wonderful the food was delicious.

Visited for a wedding. Truly stunning location and property with great staff. Food was excellent and nice infinity pool. Rooms with superb views of lake como and ideal spot to visit both Como and Bellagio etc esp by boat. In an isolated position but the tranquility is amazing.

Wow! It doesn't get much better than Villa Lario. The incredible views, the delicious food, the wonderful staff - it really is one of a kind and the best place to stay in Lake Como. We stayed in the new Palazzo suites which are right down on the lakefront in beautifully modern rooms. The shower was particularly excellent. As it is a boutique property, you get to know the staff and we loved being greeted by the same faces every morning for breakfast. The complimentary morning yoga is also a really lovely touch If I could spend the rest of my life waking up to the sound of the lapping of the lake coming through the windows of Villa Lario, I would!

Our stay at Villa Lario was short but incredible - I proposed to my partner here and the staff ensured everything ran smoothly with the planner I hired. The views were amazing from the room (Bellagio) and balcony and we couldn't fault the service or food. The Amandus restaurant was very good and free testing menu style appetisers were given throughout the meal, which was a nice surprise. The staff were very helpful and efficient! Villa Lario is worth every penny we spent and we can't wait to come back.

YOU ARE STUCK AT HOTEL **** NOT WORTH SPENDING ALL THIS MONEY WHEN YOU CANT SEE ANYTHING ELSE*** NO WALKING DISTANCE TO ANYTHING **** NO LUXURY OFFERED WHATSOEVER. *** 0 STARS **** I am honestly in complete utter shock that anyone would offer this place anything higher than 0 stars. We stayed in a Pavilion villa of two double bedrooms with bathrooms (there was no bath only showers) living room and kitchen for €1100a night. Although the view is amazing, that is the only thing amazing, I could’ve came here just to take a photo and been much happier. Location: This hotel is in a VERY remote location with NO restaurants or shops within safe walking distance. Taxis cost approximately 80 euros one-way to the next, very small town. Water taxis are around 200 euros one-way. There is a ferry however it stops running at about 7 p.m. THIS PLACE MAKES YOU FEEL TRAPPED. ***** the boat you see outside is the owner's private boat not for guest transportation. This hotel is not cheap whatsoever. The extremely high price is inexcusable because there is absolutely NO LUXURY being offered at all. The hotel does not offer any car, taxi, water taxi so you CANNOT leave the property at all. Because of these transportation challenges you have no choice but to eat at the hotel every day/night. And the dishes are honestly inedible. Without a rental car it's not really easy to get around. There were suggestions to take the ferry to Bellagio, however since the ferry stops so early you won’t be able to take it back. You also cannot call for taxis since they are usually not available at certain times and none in Bellagio, not to mention how expensive they are. So the only option is the bus, which also isn’t that frequent and stops at 9 pm. It is also a little ridiculous to be expected to rely on the bus when I am supposedly staying at a “luxury hotel” that costs over 1,000 euro a night. THE VILLA: 2 double beds with bathrooms. For an expense this high we would have expected a king bed, however that is not offered. There are no bathtubs in either bathroom and the showers are very awkward, as you turn the shower on, you get soaked with cold water. The villa comes with Sonos, however it does not work and it is unplugged. The heat or AC you cannot control yourself at all. There is no TV, as it gets very boring here when you can’t leave due to transportation issues mentioned above. There is a kitchen….The kitchen is built complete with oven, stove top, large fridge and even a dishwasher. There is a coffee machine, kettle and 4 cups and saucers. And THAT IS IT. The kitchen comes with no utensils, equipment or anything. The kitchen is merely a WASTE OF SPACE as it is unusable without the essential and basic cutlery, utensils, ingredients. Why the kitchen is there is a a complete mystery. I even questioned this to the staff but they just jump around the question and say “you can call us if you need anything.” Ok but there are only certain hours that you can call for help

We stayed here for 3 days. Amazing room, perfect view of the lake. We had failed to make plans for dinner and activities during the day, so we went to the front desk and they found us a boat to rent and dinner at a restaurant that was 15 minutes away by taxi. Nest time, we will plan better, but with the help of the staff our visit was super!
