The Amethyst Beach Motel

I loved staying here. The people who there are very nice. It’s a good walking distance to the boardwalk about 8-9 minutes. You don’t have to drive to get to the boardwalk. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The room was clean but the carpet needed shampooing. The registration process was smooth, and staff courteous. Management was rude and insulting in response to a reasonable request. I will not stay there again.

This gem is located one NYC block away from the boardwalk and the beach! What else do you need to know?

This is exactly what you want in a beach motel. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk and also to the downtown shopping and restaurants. Cute little pool and the staff was friendly and helpful

It was a nice enough hotel with proximity to the board walk. They charge extra for parking and a hotel fee if you want breakfast

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, the staff was friendly and it was a great location. The only problem for us was that there was no coffee in the room and you have to wait until 8:30 for the house coffee. Other than that it was great,

Point Pleasant 2025 Our stay was Outstanding. The staff was great and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. The pool was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed it. Nice and quiet and relaxing at night. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk.

The closeness to the beach is great. We slept fine. Not having any amenities was extremely disappointing especially given that there are no places to purchase anything that’s necessary. In addition, when we needed assistance from the front desk, nobody answered despite our calling several times.

They told me not to touch the thermostat and that the air was automatic but we did not have any air conditioning the entire time that we were there.
