Santo Stefano Home & Breakfast

Santo Stefano is a delightful B&B right in the heart of the beautiful resort of Polignano a Mare. Rooms are clean, bright and airy, and the service is excellent above all from the lovely owner Monica and the exceptionally warm and friendly receptionist Susanna. They were both so accomodating and helpful and nothing was too much for them. They genuinely cared for their guests. The breakfast which catered for most tastes was served by Maria who was also friendly and chatty. The breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with fantastic views of the and of Polignano. Would highly recommend this gem of a B&B.

Italian trip for a wedding. Recommended by bride and groom. Excellent accommodation in perfect location. Very clean and well cared for. Steep steps up to and inside the building so maybe not for the unfit. Breakfasts with a view provided by the kindest and most helpful staff. Always smiling and willing to help make your stay the best it could be. Communication excellent through booking and arrival making use of email and regular WhatsApp to help with translation. Would highly recommend.

Hotel located in the city center. The hotel is bed and breakfast. Our room was comfortable, service was great (reception and breakfast area), but I believe the shower should be up dated. Also take note that to reach our room we had to take stairs and to go to the breakfast area, which was at the rooftop you also had to climb upstairs. On the up side Breakfast area was awesome because of the views, which was really worth the flight up. Parking was recommended in a parking garage near by and the cost and transport was very reasonable. Recommend to take a small bag or carry on for your stay since stairs are everywhere.

Great location! Too many stairs! Room not the same they show in *******, I paid for superior double room and I got a awful room, I’m not coming back to this place

Location, staff and service was great. However, the rooms were quite noisy. The shared door, stairwell and terrace noise was distracting at night.

Beautiful place to stay right in the old city of Polignano, views were incredible and everything was within walking distance and an easy walk from train station. The rooms are up very narrow and steep staircases so pack lightly !!!

Stayed here for 5 days. The room was clean and hotel was in a great location within the old city. Maria was very helpful during our stay organising restaurant bookings and transfers. We had great breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. We used the rooftop area everynight to enjoy a glass wine before bed. Overall a brilliant stay highly recommended.

Best bNb in Puglia region for our 10 days trip, parking is a bit far but location is so convenient that you can be sloshed and still reach your room. Location of Breakfast place is really good.
