I stopped in for lunch and was greeted so warmly from their friendly and welcoming staff! I’ve been to the island several times and hands down I had the BEST meal I’ve ever had on this island! If you could imagine gourmet steak fajitas at their absolute best! The grounds are lovely and elegant. I recommend!

The resort is really up and coming. It has its own farm, brewery, distillery and creamery. Adults only was a nice change. The dive boat was often a little crammed, but never unsafe. The best part was they excelled on my Vegan diet. World class.

We could not believe how well our week at Marble Hill went. Amazing snorkeling and dives everyday. The food was excellent and surprisingly varied. The resort is quiet, beautiful, and away from the rush. It surpassed the positive reviews. The service was so friendly and helpful.

The resort and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The bungalow that we stayed in overlooked the Caribbean Sea and we had a glass wall and woke up to the views of the Caribbean Sea every morning. The open lanai had an infinity pool for soaking, chairs, lounge, chairs, and a hammock. Our main objective was for the diving experience, and I will say that the crew at the dive shop were very attentive, knew all of your gear, and we’re very helpful in all of your needs. The food at the restaurant I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious it was. There wasn’t a single dish that we had that we didn’t absolutely love. Everyone at the resort was very friendly, very accommodating, and did their best to provide you with everything you needed. They went out of their way to help. I would highly recommend to stay at this resort. It’s located on the east end of the island which is not as commercialized and busy. Five stars all the way.

We had the most wonderful time at the Resort at Marble Hill. I had read that they had a "responsive, helpful staff" before we had even booked with them, but now I understand the meaning of those words. They were 100% committed to making sure we had an excellent time, and they were warm and welcoming. Andrea and Samantha, especially, made sure that we always had what we needed. When we first arrived, the resort was very quiet, nearly empty. That was okay with me, but maybe a little too deserted. However, as the week went on, more people arrived, and the atmosphere was like one friendly family. The food was delicious! The menu was mostly set, with alternating 'specials', and since we'd been there a week, we tried nearly everything. The servers were courteous, responsive, and friendly. This place specializes in hosting divers and snorkelers, and since I was neither, I had some free time on my hands. I had a great time reading, while watching the ocean from our treehouse balcony. Also, I walked the resort grounds a couple of times, to take in all the interesting flowers, plants and trees. Our "treehouse" was really nice - perfectly decorated, with a huge gorgeous view of the ocean and dock. Bed was comfy. It was fun to me to see lizards: big and little, an agouti, butterflies, and hummingbirds. We took the creamery tour, after arranging it at the front desk, and had a personalized tour of their cow pen and cheese-making area, as well as a cheese tasting by the cheesemaker himself. (The cheese was very good). It was cool to me that they used many of their own ingredients in the food that they served: from herbs to some veges, and apparently cheese, too. I wish that the hilltop bar would have been open, because that looked like it would have been a cool place to hang out, and the view was incredible. My husband enjoyed great diving with really nice folks, and we spent a lot of time down there; including eating lunch, having drinks, and chilling out in the hammock facing the ocean. It's a bit far from everywhere else, including over a stretch of dirt road, but if you needed anything, you just ask. You can get a driver, or they'll take you out to get groceries (for a fee, but that's to be expected). I heard also that a celebrity has moved further down the road, and it may be that they pave the road in the future (they are working on it, though it looks like a slow-going project). There's so much more I could say about our time there. We took a beautiful sunset cruise on my birthday, had a surprise cake with dinner, I had delicious mixed drinks, and I kayaked a lot around the area with the kayaks on the dock. There was live music one evening, and just the friendliest dive team. I highly recommend this resort, and a huge, hearty thank you to the wonderful treatment we had while there! If (and when?) we return to Roatan, we will be back!

Beautiful resort with excellent food, service, very comfortable bed and pillows, a lovely shower with nice hot water and pressure, quality body soap, shampoo and conditioner, and a gorgeous view on the ocean. We were very lucky to get an upgrade to a large room with an ocean view and small pool. The only negative thing is that the paths leading to the bungalows are not well lit. It makes it hazardous at night to walk to and from the main restaurant as it is dark early in Roatan (around 6:00 p.m.). We didn't know we had a flashlight in our room. It would have been nice to be told this when we checked in or given the flashlight at that time. This hotel does not have beach access, so if you are only staying a few nights and want peace and relaxation, it is a great option. We stayed one night and had a lovely experience. We strongly recommend it.

We had a very nice week stay at The Resort at Marble Hill (located in the northeast side of the island of Roatan north of Honduras) the first week of February this year that also included six days of scuba diving with the resort's Tropical Divers dive center. The resort has three levels of accommodations with the basic level called the Seaview rooms that were large with a mini-kitchen and a balcony near the oceanfront for a great view. Their high-end accommodations are bungalows with a large balcony that included a personal plunge pool and hammock. We stayed in the mid-level accommodation called the Treehouse and it was actually our favorite after visiting all three room levels. Each Treehouse cabin is on stilts on a hillside overlooking the bay and enough distance from each other to give a secluded ambiance. The cabin was like a small house with a large shower room (toilet is in a separate room), bedroom with a large scenic window overlooking the bay and a comfy king bed, ample clothes drawers plus closet to hang clothes, a large back deck with its own outdoor shower (great for rinsing dive gear), but our favorite was the full kitchen with large refrigerator/freezer, two-burner electric stove top, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and small dining table/chairs. The housekeeping crew kept the place in great shape each day while the grounds crew kept up the landscaping. Dining was in the main building for all three meals with an attentive wait staff, plus multiple cooks and a head chef delivering high-quality food that was mostly made from scratch in the large kitchen including their biscuits, breads, and desserts. The chef has his own BBQ smoker near the restaurant that he used for all sorts of meats, including ribs and even **** chicken. A unique asset to the resort is it has it's own brewery and creamery (and soon to have also a distillery) so we got to enjoy their craft beers and fresh milk, cheese, and ice cream varieties. They offer a tour of their brewery/creamery facilities, including a short trip to meet their milk cows, but at the end they offer samples of their beers and cheeses which was delightful. Their dive operation is located in a building at the end of a boardwalk surrounded by the protected bay and offers lots of covered area to set up your gear and a ladder that leads down to a shallow area that features a hammock and two swings, which we have never seen before. The building also includes an observation deck on top (great for looking at the stars at night) and even a bar so you can enjoy a beer or cocktail after your last dive. Tropical Divers' crew, led by a PADI Instructor named Sam, goes out of their way to provide you a good experience diving the northside dive sites or if it gets too windy then they shuttle you down to the southside to board their boat and explore those dive site. Their current boat is fully covered and holds 6-8 divers comfortably doing back-rolls into the water. The boat has a large staircase-style

My wife and I spent 7 nights here and it was spectacular. Ate at the resort 3 meals a day the entire week. Perfect place to unplug and relax (yoga, massage, swim, hike). Food is fresh and inexpensive, not terribly creative but at the price point its amazing. The staff is off the charts helpful and easy going. The drive from the airport is a bit rough (45ish minuts and only half is paved well) so we didn't venture back out much once we got there. There are tours, snorkeling, and beaches within 10 min, the larger more crowded areas are back by the airport "West End" about and hour each way. Even when there were other couples (adult only BTW) at the resort we seldom saw other people. Very isolated and quiet. We will absoutely go again. Bring what you need, there is not a store nearby. The staff was able to get us a few things when needed (suscreen, aloe). Rooms: The waterfront bungaloes are ridiculous! Spacious and clean, views to die for. No TV (which we loved) but there is wifi and plenty of outlets if you need. Ours had a walkout patio and dip pool, it appeared some have different fittings but no screen for us. There can be a lot of bugs at times. Walkability: Terrain from rooms to dock and main house are all fairly steep and uneven. So a basic level of fitness and mobility is probably ideal Food & drinks: Ate 3 meals a day for 8 days here. 1 or 2 were lackluster but 80% or so were really solid. All fresh ingredients, most made or harvested right at the resort (creamery, brewery, gardens on site). Depending on the season may be more fruit (summer months) and some items will come on and off the menu daily depending on availability.

I loved staying here. It's off the beaten path, but so worth it! I enjoyed the my sea view room, the amazing customer service, food views and accommodations! Andrea and Samantha were so very nice. I would recommend to everyone. This is a very secluded location. If you want more tourists area. Stay in West Bay
