Cuba Patnem

We stayed at the end of April 2025. This is a wonderful hotel (not our first time in Asia). The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, the staff is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are surrounded by palm trees, always shaded. We had a bungalow with a partial sea view. There is air conditioning, hot water, soap, shower gel, and even cleaning equipment. It is very convenient for sweeping up sand if it gets in the way or cleaning up water on the bathroom floor. Cleaning is done every other day, and they do a good job. There were no ants or other small creatures in the bungalow. At the entrance to each bungalow, there is a faucet with water for rinsing your feet, which is just perfect. The beach has sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels. The restaurant is simply lovely. It has a sea view, some tables have ottomans, and in the evening, they bring out several tables onto the beach. We ate exclusively at this restaurant for an entire week, ordering a variety of food, including local, Chinese, and European, and everything was delicious! The portions are large, the prices reasonable. The cocktails are good. Patnem Beach is uncrowded and clean, and trash is removed daily. The sea is murky, but clear and warm. There are waves, but it's safe to swim. We went swimming with our two-year-old. It's very hot during the day, so we sat on the terrace, but the mornings and evenings are pleasant.
