We booked a bungalow with sea views, clean, with a mosquito net and a small terrace perfect for enjoying the sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at Om Shanti many times in the recent past and have always had a very relaxing and enjoyable break from the English weather! The location is wonderful, the food and accommodation faultless and the staff very helpful and prepared to go the extra mile for you. The owners Sanket and Nanoo oversee the operation and make sure everything runs smoothly. Unlike a previous commentator we have never experienced the staff or owners being rude to their guests, and no stock shortages - indeed Om must be one of the best stocked restaurants on the beach, if not the best. We’ll certainly be back next year!

I can't believe that 1 star review, they cannot be talking about the same Om Shanti that I have been coming to for 10 years. The staff are great, friendly and professional, and unlike many other resturants on Patnem Beach, its the same staff year after year. The food is excellent and I have never known them to run out of anything. They serve great coffee from a state of the art coffee machine. I recommend this resturant without hesitation.

Totally useless, rude staff that just ignore you, food is very below any standard! No stock, you ask for something they dont have it, something as simple as coffee. My advice totally avoid at all costs!

First trip to India, everything was perfect, the accommodation at Om Shanti is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the restaurants dog Ginger is a diamond pup❤️ already checking flights for next year, such a fantastic place. The live band on a Thursday are excellent playing Eagles, Neil Young, Bob Marley , Stevie Wonder The Doors and many more, I’m an ex musician from London and believe me they’re good.Thanks to you all and see you in 27. .

beach nearby but no view from garden room , a/c very efficient also ceiling fan . Staff very helpful , put new lock in safe as soon as I requested it . Reception took me directly to room carrying my baggage (without me having to ask) even though guests were waiting at desk but I had already had reservation confirmed so they attended me directly .

Great location right on the beach. Staff are brilliant and really looked after us, they couldn't do enough. Food was excellent and plentiful. Live music some nights. You can sleep in the hut and then have breakfast on the beach before sunbathing Highly recommend for food, chillout or stay
