Hotel Il Santuario - Pompei Reviews

The hotel was just close to the train station. We only had to walk for about 5 minutes. Our room was right across the Bell Tower of the church. Pompeii Scavi was also 12 minutes away from the hotel. Restaurants were everywhere but the hotel has a restaurant where you can have nice seating and they serve fresh and delectable authentic food from Pompeii. The staff from both the hotel and the restaurant were all very warm! The downside is that the toilet was leaky and it didn't look good because of the water stain in it. Also, there is no internet access in the room, only in the lobby.

This hotel honestly ruined our time in Pompeii. Hotel manager was extremely rude and was not willing to work with us when we had an extra person in our party due to an air b&b mixup. We ended up overcharged for a low quality room. They watched us coming and going from our room the entire time we were there, as if expecting us to do something wrong and waiting to make us pay for it. Not worth it!

I went as a teacher accompanying students aged 12 to 16 on a school trip. The accommodation was basic but very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. The buffet breakfast was very child friendly and I would recommend the double shot cappuccino.

This place was like a hostel. Beds were very comfortable and view was nice. Bathroom was very small, toilet seat needed to be tightened. Tv did not work. Hotel was basic but a good value for the money. Rooms need to be updated.

Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast excellent. Near train station and ruiins. We had a pretty large room and a sizable bathroom, especially for an old hotel. We had two dinner in the hotel restaurant. Very nice experience.

Beautiful hotel only 100 meters from the entrance to the ruiins of Pompeii and in the center of town with restaurants and shops in walking distance. My room was quiet, spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast offered a large selection. In addition the staff was really friendly and helpfull: they organized airport transfers for me as well as a beautiful day trip to the Sorrento coast. Thank you again Luigi. It is really a great place to relax.

The stay there was perfect, the location was that good that wherever you go, you will always come back to your hotel without planning it. The service was also great and helpful.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the location right next to this beautiful church and park and for whatever reason there was a fireworks show for about 5 minutes right where I was sitting at the outdoor part of the hotel bar. Only negative was wifi only in lobby.

My dream to visit Pompeii and climb the Vesuvius came true. Staying centrally located within walking distance is an important factor since I traveled solo. The location is fantastic. The hotel has a lot of history since 1871. It was instrumental in the excavation of Pompeii. Rooms are basic and yet comfortable. This was within my budget but location wise was fabulous.

On the internet the room was announced with bathtab, but it has only shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the internet was working only on the reception lobby. The breakfast was not so good either. It’s good that the hotel is near the station, very central and the personal was nice, but I will definittly not use the hotel again.

Ξενοδοχείο τριών αστέρων, με παλιά επίπλωση, χωρίς κουρτίνες συσκότισης ή περσίδες, με σκληρό και καθόλου άνετο στρώμα και μαξιλάρια, με νερό στο μπάνιο χλιαρό （σχεδόν κρύο）, με ίντερνετ μόνο στη ρεσεψιόν, χωρίς πάρκινγκ （βρίσκεις 200 μέτρα μακριά με χρέωση）, αλλά σε εξαιρετική θέση και θέα στην κεντρική πλατεία （δες φωτογραφία）. Για ένα βράδυ σε τρίκλινο δωμάτιο με μπαλκόνι ήταν Οκ. Η απόφαση δική σας!!!

El hotel está en plena plaza central, donde puedes visitar el Santuario y las tiendas, además de estar a cinco minutos del parque histórico de Pompeya. El personal muy amable y atento.
