AC Hotel Ponferrada

The hotel is modern and cozy. The receptionists are lovely. The room is clean, with a 1.50m bed and a large bathroom, fully equipped. If I had to pick a fault, it would be that it's on a main avenue and you can hear some car noise in the morning. However, it's close to the center and parking is easy in the area. Highly recommended.

Overall, the hotel is decent, but the room is too small and the parking fee is too expensive. The breakfast selection is limited, but the service is good.

The hotel's location is excellent; the window offers a view of a highway roundabout sculpture and the park opposite. It's a 15-minute walk to the castle, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making life convenient. The room was spacious, and there was a large balcony, but I didn't even have time to sit down and enjoy the street view. The room service wasn't as professional or attentive as some hotels in China; the coffee machine on the windowsill was apparently not seen, as they forgot to refill the coffee and provide complimentary water. The breakfast was quite substantial, with meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, and yogurt all included. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the driver they called was professional and in good condition. Ponferrada Castle is definitely worth a visit!
