Playadulce

The location was amazing as it was right across from the beach. It is isolated from the rest of the town so to access other shops and restaurant is about a 20-25 walk. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was good but the dinner buffet needed more options. The room and facilities were clean. The bed in the room could have been more comfortable. It was very helpful that parking was free and right in front of the hotel lobby.

Never been to this hotel or the area before, but we were really impressed with the hotel and surroundings. Yes the hotel is Spanish, but that is what we wanted. There were quite a few British people here and the entertainment team spoke in both languages and were great with our grandson. We loved the food, something for everyone. We were on half board and you could swap from dinner to lunch if you wanted, which was really good. Also unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks with your meal, which was fabulous. Shame there wasn't any outdoor seating to eat your meal though. Our room was very spacious with two large beds. We had a little fridge but no kettle. The hairdryer was really good. The pool area catered for the swimmers and on the other side, the fun slides were great. My only gripe would be the outdoor jacuzzi, too many children in there with rubber rings and splashing. To me it should be a relaxing adult time area. I only saw the lifeguard once, tell the children off for splashing and using it as a play pool. One or two adults who were in there, weren't very happy.

Stayed in the Presidential Suite which is the only one in this hotel and had a very good deal on our stay. The suit is light and airy and very nicely decorated and nicely maintained. There is a huge private terrace with it's own jacuzzi and swimming pool which is not overlooked. It is fine for able bodied people but I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly, the suite is accessed from the corridor level but the bedroom and living area are up thirteen narrow spiral stairs with a handrail but still tricky. Also the pool and jacuzzi are up tiled stairs and are difficult to get in and out of as there are no steps or rails close to the water. It would be a difficult space for people who are not a couple as it's one big room and the huge circular bath and twin wash basins are visible from the lounge area. The bath would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues too. Having said all of this, it's a fantastic room and the staff are great.

Lovely hotel, with nice friendly staff. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day and the cleaning lady deserves a big thank you as she found my husbands wallet, which had fell under the bed, which we were not aware of at the time. She left it on the bed. So very trustworthy staff. Drinks are plentiful and snacks in various locations around the hotel. There is always something to eat and help yourself to drinks in the restaurants. We have a room with a sea view and tea and coffee facilities in the room. We have the grandchildren with us and the only niggle is they are sharing a double bed, the 15 year old wasn't impressed, but it has meant we have had to top and tail them. Entertainment has been varied, but enjoyable. This hotel is looking at the beach and you can have a nice walk in the evening to the harbour. Overall you would struggle to spend anything extra here and it's relaxing. So would definitely recommend and come again. I hope management says thanks to the maid who cleans room 1022 for honesty.

I use to go to this hotel. It is fantastic. Every year is geting better and better. It is so clean that you feel you are at Home. Perfect for family holidays

Short flight, nice hotel, updated our room and it was amazing, excellent view, so big, clean and we had a butler, if we needed them. Breakfast was lovely. We ate out lunch and evening meal, all restaurants were good on the front. Although it was a hot week, the pool was shut as it was our of season but the beach is across the road. Lovely break. Reception very helpful and friendly.

A bad start at the tjeck in. But otherwise a very pleasant stay..

We stayed at Playadulce Hotel for Christmas 2025 and a birthday. The animation team was very good and friendly, they really tried to create a nice atmosphere. The room cleaning was also very good and consistent. Unfortunately, the reception experience was extremely poor. We waited almost 2 hours to check in due to system communication issues between Love Holidays and the hotel reservations, and the lady on duty was not helpful at all and quite rude. Bar service was slow and poor. In winter, the hotel doesn’t offer many facilities. Food quality was good, but restaurant service was weak and unorganized. If you visit this hotel, try to avoid dealing too much with reception and I wouldn’t recommend booking more than 2 nights.
