Porto Santo Destination

The staff was spectacular! Sofia, Nuno, Solange, and Adelaide made us feel at home from the very first moment. The facilities exceeded our expectations, and we were given excellent tips on how to explore the island. I highly recommend it for families and solo travelers. We will be back.

Dishonest owner, avoid this establishment! I booked a 2-night stay at this establishment located on the island of Porto Santo, accessible by ferry or plane from the island of Madeira. I made my reservation via B*****g.com without taking the free cancellation option since I was sure I wanted to go. Unfortunately, the ferry we were supposed to take notified us the day before for the next day that all trips for the next day and the day after were canceled due to Storm Nelson! It was therefore impossible for us to go to the island of Porto Santo and I asked the establishment to kindly accept an exceptional cancellation of our reservation without charge since we were absolutely not responsible for the bad weather conditions :( But the owner did not accept, making me believe that he did not have the capacity to cancel the reservation without charge on B*****g when it is entirely possible when it is an exceptional request! He offered me a change of date, but living in France, it is obvious that I will not be able to easily make the trip back to Porto Santo and that it would cost me too much! In short, I find it very unfortunate to be so unempathetic and to refuse a cancellation when the room has certainly been re-let since the customers already present on the island were stuck there! This ruined my trip, my budget and the idea I had of the inhabitants of Madeira and Porto Santo who are ultimately very dishonest with tourists :(
