Hotel Barcelona is located in Ponta Penâ, offers 132 rooms and has the Paraguay border at its doorstep. At the other side of the border the town is called Pedro Juan Caballero. Furnishings and decoration provide an OK a**osphere, however, the hotel has has it best days a while ago. Service is friendly & helpful. Our adequately furnished room had desk & chairs, TV, wardrobe with safe, fridge & mini bar, air-conditioning, an OK double-bed and a single bed. We had a bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower. Windows have metal shutters and can be opened. With window open, be prepared for city traffic noice and a loud bar next door. Good Wi-Fi. All was clean. An good buffet breakfast is served with a good variety: scrambled eggs & s Brazilian sausage-cuts, cold cuts & cheeses, breads & toast, cereals & fruits, milk & yoghurts, juices & preserves, rolls & cakes, water, tea & coffee. Hotel Barcelona is a comfortable hotel, and we had a good stay. Recommended.

Hotel com ótimo custo benefício, muito próximo do centro de compras do Paraguai, estacionamento grande com controle de acesso, quartos limpos. A única ressalva é o restaurante, onde pedimos 2 pratos diferentes, em espécie e valor e mandaram os dois iguais, no mais uma boa opção.

O hotel fica bem localizado, muito estacionamento (estava cheio, mas tinha vagas suficiente). Funcionários super atenciosos, limpeza e café da manhã ótimos. Usei a piscina e a Hidro tudo OK. Super recomendo e com certeza irei voltar. Obrigada à todos.

Excelente desde o chek in quando informei que minha esposa era cadeirante foram muito solícitos em me atender e me deram uma habitação especial para esse tipo de pessoas. Quarto com acessibilidade muito bom. Parabens ao hotel .

Infelizmente ficamos num apartamento quadruplo, as camas muito velhas, no apto 462. foi uma noite horrível pois ninguém conseguiu dormir, além das camas ruins, muito barulho , som alto vindo da rua. O Hotel Barcelona caiu muito o padrão.

O prédio tem aparência de ser da década de 70 ou 80, mas por dentro se mostra bem conservado, mas já precisando de retoques. Atendimento é prático, rápido e intuítivel. Os quartos são muito simples, porém funcionais. O café da manhã é o mais completo que já tive acesso em hotéis, muita opção, muito capricho, muito cuidado e excelente qualidade na apresentação e no preparo dos alimentos, digo de reconhecimento. O bar/Restaurante, terceirizado, tem bons pratos, local aconchegante, comida de qualidade, preços condizentes por estar dentro do local, porém o atendimento é desorganizado e lerdo. Demonstram que não tem gestão ou não estão dando conta da alta demanda, pelo menos quando eu fui em véspera de feriado de dia das crianças (Nov/23)! Verifique que há no hotel academia, piscina e sauna, porém não os utilizei nem os visitei, não tendo como avaliar. Fora isso, registro que em um retorno ficarei no mesmo hotel. Gostei bastante.
