Excellent location, courteous staffs and nice local food for hotel breakfast. Turmeric drink is very nice. Long bathtub is old and not practical for seniors as being Asian our legs are shorter and having to go in to the high bathtub can be a challenge. Malaysia 🇲🇾 uses 3 pin plug unfortunately the one in the room is spoilt. Had dinner at Lao Pan Niang Coffeeshop just walking distance. Very reasonable price food including the sweet &!sour fish 🐠 we ordered.

Pro: Hotel location is quite central with surrounding lively food stalls, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. It is also walkable to prime attractions such as the Flamboyan Market and the Kapuas River Waterfront. Breakfast is fairly good despite limited choices. Rooms are spacious, clean, and basic. Hotel decor is primarily modern vs classic European style—both beautiful inside and outside. WiFi is available but was not informed by the check-in staff. All staff are very polite, and that is a big plus! Cons: The area is a bit overcrowded, but that is reasonable. Some exposed areas are a bit unsightly, especially around the hallway. Constant error beeping near the elevator is annoying and the doorbell keeps on malfunctioning.

A well located hotel in the city with good amenties & access to shopping areas & eateries. Room was also clean & spacious but the wall is abit thin as we cam hear the voices of guest speaking. Also friendly & helpful staff ready to meet  our requests. Breakfast spread while quite basic is also delicious  sumptious.  Will surely repeat stay in our next visit.

It is an enjoyable stay at Gajahmada located at busiest street in Pontianak. Near to sight seeing spots and waterfront, good for short trip!

Breakfast was ok, lots of varieties. Strategic location, lots of food centre nearby and supermarket just beside the hotel. Staff are friendly and with spacious hotel room. We got 1 extra bed as we are group of 3 and dont need to stay at different roomt.

Nyaman

It's an old hotel, but clean with spacious room. service was good. Sadly the room i stayed in the aircon was not cool probably around 26 degrees, the room boy advised me not remove the room card when i went out so the aircon is not off, and i can request another room key at the reception. I have notified the issue to the reception, but is good for guess who prefer the room at 25-27 degrees.

The best place in Pontianak for late-night dining. A regular since childhood.

It's ok, the supermarket is downstairs, there is a night market in front of you, convenient for shopping

The rooms are delicious, the breakfast is delicious, really recommended, everything is clean
