Hotel Pavlou

Traveling for work and holiday, September 2022...bad choice for those who really want a quality stay. We start with a minimum contribution of €5 per person! who ask you to use the sunbeds on the beach, even if you obviously stay in their hotel. Rude and unfriendly staff, never smiles and seems as if they are "obliged" to offer their service to the customer. Only two people behaved differently, they were always cheerful and smiling: Mrs Elisabetta at the reception and Angelica, the bar waitress who I warmly thank. Breakfast was really poor and the same every day. English and American. If you want to eat something else, for example cereal with milk you have to pay the supplement. Prices outside the restaurant norm too. The fact that is really ridiculous is that they also charge you for the first coffee of the day, i.e. espresso is not included in breakfast. The only coffee they offer "free" is milk coffee, French type. We won't go back there again, because it's totally an absolute disappointment.

Location good, BUT expensive for what it offers: bathroom is 70's with no renovations - basin had black mold, dirt was coming out of the shower tiles, there were broken tiles in the shower and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and cracks. There was no wifi in the room and when we asked to fix it, they suggested we change rooms or go down to the reception. Unacceptable for a double room that costs more than 100 euros a night!! The balcony railings were rusty. Shame because it is a hotel where the front rooms have a great view.

We stayed 7 days. They were all very helpful and kind!!! Very good location, perfect view! Food and breakfast very good! Clean rooms and everything we needed was delivered immediately! Thank you for everything and we will see you next year for sure!!!
