Great service, friendly staff and clean rooms. The location in Summerstrand is ok. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach or the mall.

Still as nice as the first time we stayed here and all the times in between. Friendly staff, good food, great chef, comfortable rooms, interesting interior. Patrick is a genius of the hospitality industry, and his colleagues make a great team.

Located in a very upmarket area a few minutes walk from the sea front. We had one night there as we were getting a flight up to Johannesburg. Beautiful decor, lovely food. We stayed over the road in the annex building. A bit strange but our room was really amazing.

A very nice hotel at a central location in Summerstrand. The hotel is a good stop for transit or to spend a couple of days in the region. It is close to the promenade and also within easy reach of the airport or the N2. There is a restaurant and a Spa. Definitely on our list when visiting this part of the country. There is safe parking and the staff is very friendly and acommodating.

Strange place ! - Checked in after figuring out where reception was as this place seems be spread over a few buildings with not much signage. After going in to our room, tried to use the room safe and followed instructions to no avail. When receptionist came to the room, she also tried with no success and found the instruction card was for a completely different safe. The bed light was hanging off the wall.. This is for a supposed 5 star hotel. Breakfast was lovely and the manager did come over to apologise for the inconvenience caused the night before.. Apology accepted

Spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel as a family of 4 (2 teenage kids). Rooms were great. Nicely decorated, very spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was good and we enjoyed an evening watching a movie in the cinema room. Staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone travelling through PE.

We had an absolutely great Cape Trip with no terrible rooms, all 5star in their own way. But No. 5 and Swartberg Manor were our two best. No. 5 was an awesome! value. It was easily our best room physically in are whole trip. Spacious!, clean, quiet and peaceful. We were put up in the 3 room annex across the street, room number 10, it was huge and well appointment. Crossing the street for breakfast was no big deal, in return we had a house with only 3 quests, total peace and quiet and pool virtually to ourselves. The food was outstanding for dinner, and the breakfast superb! They made hot breakfast 20 min early for us (06:40) to facilitate our daytrip/safari at Addo Elephant. Unbelievable service. Art work is a great touch making this a unique place. Great service all around, but Nick the desk manager who we interacted with the most was superb. Attached some pics of the Annex.

Stayed here one night en route to further travels in the Eastern Cape. The hotel was quite empty as it was the night before a mid-week public holiday. We had a lovely time. Staff were exceptional - Kristen at reception and Patrick in the restaurant and everywhere else. The restaurant was unexpectedly delightful - 10/10 for the venison starter and Cape Salmon main dish. You’re unlikely to like every single item of art, but very likely to love some of it. The room was large, luxurious, spotlessly clean,, and everything worked as it should. Much recommended.
