"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I booked this property through ******* just one day prior to arrival. I did see some negative reviews beforehand but chose to move forward—unfortunately, those reviews were accurate. Upon check-in, it was immediately clear that the condition of the property did not reflect the listing or photos provided online. The unit had multiple cleanliness issues, including a dirty bathroom (toilet and surfaces), an unclean kitchen sink and counters, and generally poor upkeep throughout. The refrigerator was not functioning properly, and overall maintenance of the property appeared neglected. There were also safety concerns, including damaged decking and the general condition of the grounds. What was most concerning, especially as I was traveling with a child, was the lack of on-site staff or support. I was informed that the individual managing the property also served as the groundskeeper and left the premises in the evening, leaving no one available for assistance or emergencies. Due to these conditions, I made the decision to leave immediately and did not stay overnight. I reported the issues right away and provided photos documenting everything. Unfortunately, the owner refused to issue a refund despite the clear discrepancies and the fact that the accommodations were not usable. Instead, I was left to find alternative accommodations at my own expense. This experience was extremely disappointing. At a minimum, travelers should expect accurate representation, basic cleanliness, and a safe environment—none of which were met here. I would strongly advise future guests to take prior reviews seriously and ensure that the current condition of the property aligns with what is being advertised."

"Fabulous week spent here in a cute room with four poster bed - we were upstairs so had a great view out onto the water. Great location for restaurants and town. Water and motorised taxis were plentiful. Great little kitchen if you fancied doing any meals - we didnt as so many nice places to eat out at. Wonderful, helpful staff. Highly recommended"
